“I’m not actually sure - I specialize in Adari science. I think they use contained explosions to turn the wheels.”

The two littlest, who were fighting over a fork, stopped and stared. For a moment, the room was quiet. 

“Ooooo,” the older one (maybe eleven or twelve, but younger than the teenage River) smirked. “Bat’s got a giiiiiiirl.”

Bat turned red. “She’s my friend, Fox.” 

Fox smirked again and winked at him. “Sure, sure.” 

Bat got even redder. 

“I’m Fly!” The next littlest said, climbing onto the table. She spread her arms and flapped them. “And I can fly! See??” She jumped off the table into a well-placed pile of blankets that looked rather well used. 

The littlest one giggled. “Snow.”

A persin at church straight up started their talk with "if your a child of troubled family, divorced parents, or broken lives god loves you regardless"    brooo described my life....
