Rebus noticed a Plotblade in the form of a golden scepter. It was beautiful, and something told him that it was by far the most powerful of the bunch. The plaque under it said something, but it seemed a bit blurry.

Rose narrowed her eyes at it and showed it her dagger.

When the gargoyle swings, Rebus steps forwards and sideways, getting within the guard of the gargoyle’s polearm. He stops the haft of the halberd with his shield, then swings his claymore at the creature.

The creature takes the hit, then jumps into the air, landing quickly and swinging again.

Or, well, Tam is the bunny’s Pet.

Good job. One down, five more enemies between you and the boss. Three of which respawn. Hint - don’t fight those ones.

Oh, and since I’m so nice, the bridge centerpiece turns and completes the bridge, allowing you to pass and face enemy 2 (which doesn’t respawn): Another FLOPPING GARGOYLE.
