What does mordite do anyway?

To Cricket, Tim did not exist. His Author was interfering with him.

"Yeah." he said wincing, touching his arm, where he had a bloody gash. "They must be infected or something."

If you wish. Malan said, teleported to his base. He was tall and thin, with a lab coat on. He seemed like an ordinary mad scientist.

"Lemme have a look."

Ohh right. The bad corruption stuff.

Mmhmm

My character has a mech employing both Nullite and Mordite.

But

Disregard that.

Tam suddenly popped back into existence beside them. She still had the blanket around her shoulders, and was covered in a very thin dusting of snow.

She was also still shivering.

Rebus looks at the footage from the camera, then notices the planet chunks. His jaw drops, and he begins to laugh, mostly in disbelief. “Did I just- did we- is that? Did we just destroy the planet?” He brings back his utility fog for protection, and searches and broadcasts on frequencies Balitan might use.

There is no sign of his friend, as is to be expected of one who was at the center of a planet-destroying explosion. The camera Rebus sent into the void sends back footage of absolutely nothing.

Kion looks back and forth between the two Monis. “A Faceless! Immobilization!” he says to stop both versions of Moni from moving.

Both Monis gasp indignantly. "Hey!" Complains the Moni inside the cave. "How could I be a Faceless? I've been inside the cave this whole time."

The Rebus copy shrugs, though he knows Malevolence can’t see him. “I’m a clone - the real Rebus is occupied.”

"You think I might be a clone of Rebus? No, I'm not. Just an independent evil genius."

"Welcome!" Malevolence was slightly surprised by the ease with which his bases defenses were compromised, but supposed that Malan would hardly be a master of evil if a mere fledgling mastermind's defenses could stop him. He bowed to his employer. "It is good to meet you. Could you perhaps explain in a bit more detail exactly what 'Enullers' and 'Narrators' are?"

Kills you or gives practically unhealable wounds, depending on where you get hit.

She wasn't actually stabbed with Mordite, just something sort of similar.

Rebus sets his face, deciding to mourn later. He’d bring Balitan back from memory, as he’d promised. He creates a pole, sticks it into the void, then pulls it back.
Kion shrugs. “You cannot be too careful. Do either of you know the code phrases?” he bluffs.
The Rebus clone nods slowly. “I was mostly being metaphorical. But I think you have other things to worry about right now.”

"I-I'm not hurt, if-f that's what you're asking," she said, shivering.

A small campfire was Narrated into existence, and she sat down next to it.

"Failure? I did not fail. I found your quarry when you had no idea where they were, and discovered that although their powers were too much for me while I was unprepared for them, they are extremely vulnerable right now. Your primary target Cricket? I injured him, and he was already on his last legs before that. Tam is psychologically compromised and half-dead of frostbite. All of this was before I detonated a small nuclear device in their face by the way. I'd say that I was at least as effective as your 'most powerful servant' was, if not more so."

He seized him, lifting him up by the throat, with strength not matching his slight frame. Then, after a moment, he dropped him unceremoniously. "You did good. But instead of breaking them, I want them dead. Lennox, however... she is interesting. Spare her, next time. Bring her to me. She could make an interesting servant, if... properly trained."
