He breathed. Tam… she’s not taking the fact that she killed somebody well. She… kinda ran off into the woods, and I don’t know what to do. Should I go after her, or just let her be?

Go after her, probably. And when you find her, could she bring Gaioh and I? --When she's feeling better, of course.

Yeah, of course. I can get you guys later. Right now, though… Thanks, I’ll find her. he said, starting to follow Tam’s tracks through the snow, regularly teleporting a hundred yards or so to make up for lost time

Ohmigosh Glass 😭 that is SO GOOD, and soooo sad.

On a tree branch above her, a bird began to sing.

Awwwww really?? Thank you 😊

She ignored it and continued trudging through the snow.

@Through The Living Glass

I feel like it'd be kind of hard to do that, just because he's following her footsteps, so he doesn't know where she's going to be.

And it sure as heck isn't a straight line :D

Well he’s kinda good at this

maybe not 100 yards, maybe just 100 feet

that makes more sense

Cricket sighed, leaning against a tree, breathing hard. Every time he teleported, it felt like a knife to the gut, and he knew exactly what they felt like.

He groaned, standing and staggered forward, continuing to teleport.

*cough* it was a knife to the chest, actually . . .

Unfortunately for him, Tam had gone quite far in the time since she'd left the clearing.

Fortunately, Cricket was very determined to find her, and kept on going.

He inspected them carefully, sighed, and went forward. It was cold, and he wanted to find Tam, before it got colder. The sun was setting through the trees and snow had begun to fall.

"You have to tell them," said 656, clutching Subversion's wrist and staring intently at her. Her earlier reticence seemed to have vanished completely. "You have to tell them I'm not crazy. Something took my brother. Erased him."

Subversion blinked at 656. "Well if it's that important, I'll tell them. Not sure they'll believe me, but I'll try to be convincing."

"Indeed." The traveler replies. "I hate paperwork. How's the trial going?"

The Emperor stands up "Please, rise. You do a great service to me and have no need to bow to me." He says, looking at the Dreamsmith with a waning smile. "The demons are created with the power of undeath. They will rise continually even after death. They leech upon the souls of those they kill and it only makes them stronger. Though, they do fear the light of the Gods."

The Dreamsmith rises as well. "So you require a weapon that can deal with undying creatures? I am tempted to recommend Mordite, but weapons made from that metal come with high risks and I have none of it here." He strokes his metal jaw in thought, eyes glowing like embers as he examines the Emperor. "I can see a way to help you. You are a Narrator, and your soul is infused with the light of your gods." He nods to himself. "Yes, I think that would work. It will not be without consequences, but I can see a way to make a weapon that will allow you to contain them indefinitely."

Yeah, Platypus has been called as the first witness.

Rebus sets out for him, teleporting to random coordinates until Omen’s magic causes him to end up there. “You are Omen, I assume?” He’s as always surrounded by barely visible utility fog, and he’s wearing a new outfit, with a different combination of white, black, and glowing orange than before.

No. Only the clothing she normally wears (which isn't made for snow).

A pair of snowshoes, a heavy coat, and a flashlight suddenly appeared in the snow in front of him. There was a note attached to the flashlight.

Okay :D

Shoe the octopus suddenly latched onto the side of the platform, glaring at Bat.

Shoe politely asked Livetha to connect Bat and himself, then stalked/slid towards Bat in a menacing way.

Where are Tam and Cricket? he demanded rather forcefully.

"They--" he scooted back. "So there was this guy, and he said he was gonna kill Tam and me, and so Cricket came back from Ennulling school and the guy took us to the woods and we had to fight him, and I came back to make sure Gaioh was okay, and Tam killed the guy and so she's sad now and Cricket's going after her and--- and it's fine. They're fine. He's with her--- she's fine, he's fine, everyone's fine." He laughed nervously.
