A nasty wound indeed. Mordite? @Ookla the nostealnamepls Sequence snapped back to focus, eyes moving to the Enuller. The bandage wrapped around her midsection and the one on her arm both had small back stains in the middle, clearly needing to be changed soon. Sequence blinked, then slowly nodded. Then paused, and shook her head instead. “No, not Mordite. I don’t know exactly what Everyone is. Dark, certainly. I suppose you’ll need to see the wound itself. Aelinor, help me please.” Aelinor hurried over to begin removing the bandage. The midsection of Sequence’s shirt where the bandage was has been torn out to give room for the bandage, and once off, a laceration of medium depth extending from just above her navel up to the bottom of her ribcage beneath her arm was visible. The flesh and the skin was black as oil, sizzling and bubbling a bit and excreting a significant amount of black tar-like substance. Sequence grimaced and Aelinor gagged, stepping back.

Upon the first press of the portals button, fireworks streak into the air, flying through - you guessed it - portals at regular intervals, then reappearing elsewhere. When the first one goes off, the glowing lines sent out by the explosion are intercepted and sent inwards from a circle around the initial burst. Then a blinding light comes from the sky. The containment of the portal to a star fluctuates, sending out blinding beams of light in different patterns. The light that comes off of the superheated air from those beams warms the spectator, and some temperature control is set up by the utility fog. Then, the next portal rockets are set up. Caught in a beam of solar radiation, several detonate early. But nothing truly problematic happens until one explodes on schedule. In order for the flares from that explosion to be sent back the other way, a portal is opened. Unfortunately, it is a portal inside the star containment. The blinding light goes from metaphorically blinding to actually blinding as a gout of plasma is released from the portal. Noting containment loss, the star connection is shut down and the plasma vented into space. All would be well, except for one thing: Lady Bug had pressed star several times. A new portal to a star opens soon after, and more portal enhanced fireworks are detonated early. The utility fog goes to fully mirrored as a beam of sunlight is accidentally redirected at the spectators. 3 hours ago, oOklA thE shInyYyy said: In that case, Beosta narrowed her eyes at Owen.
