I hope I am not denouncing anyone, either. I simply don't want a fight of any kind to occur, and I don't want to see anyone besmirched in any way. Things happen, and we're only human, but we can be better than that.

Many thanks.

It shrugged and made a so-so gesture with its hand.

"So . . ." Tam waited for an answer.

"You did? Oh. Then yes, that would be nice."

"Is that a maybe?" Bacon asked hopefully.

The traveler looks confused. "What was your answer? I must've missed it."

Unintelligible fills the form out hastily, managing (barely) to remain in control of his powers well enough to keep from writing random gibberish. "Here, done." He thrust it back into the Enuller's hands.

Subversion takes her time filling out her own form, mildly intrigued by Unintelligible's actions.

The Ennuller filed the form.

A few moments later, a doctor arrived at Sequence's location.

Charles's frown deepened. Tenth, are you familiar with a Narrator known as 'The Scribe'?

Cricket did so.

He felt himself sliding towards not-quite-sleep...

I'll let you describe what that looks like.

it's anywhere? okay.

They appeared in an old crumbling church, overtaken with leaves and vines, in the midst of a pleasant forest. All of its grandeur was gone, except for one wall stood, with an old stained glass rose window, that, though shattered in places, still retained its glory. The ground was covered in leaves and weeds grew amidst the cobblestones. They were life-sized stone statues in the corner and Cricket gasped, seeing them. They were people he knew. Telse's was broken, crumbling, but others, including Tam's were unshattered. "So.... now what?" he asked

Unintelligible teleported away back to Sequence, and Subversion continued filling out her paperwork. After a time, she looked up. "Is there a particular answer you're looking for under the 'intended use' section? Not that I'd lie, of course. Just curious."

No… but it seems as if we should seek out those others in the city.

Tenth frowned as well.

@OOKLA the strange

The two arrived at the offices, and they were… desecrated. They could just barely hear something… but only barely.

Uuuuuummmmm

usually it would be

but I’m really not sure if a computer can pick up speaking in Silence.

@Ookla the Bacon

Would a microphone pick up Ennuler speech?

But let’s just say that it was too faint even for Silver.

Pyk cocks his head. “Let’s go in, then.”

"I see. So you are blessed with compassion by your gods. Interesting." The traveler frowns. "I'll think about it. In any case, you answered my question, so I'll answer yours. What do you want to know about the Dreamsmith?"

I'm sure I remember it from somewhere, some argument we or me and Hacob had. It's all the same.

Pretty sure what you're thinking of is Nameless' lawyer and Hacob in that lawsuit.

I honestly don't understand why it's your place to chastise me in such a manner. If you want to complain of such things, you should've just PM'd me. Not cool man. You don't post such a passive aggressive message in front of everyone using your characters to do such things. Go find some other five year-old to complain to. You wanted a passive aggressive fight and you got one. Congratulations.

Also I would like to point out that me and @Ookla The Dragonslayer both made an agreement through Private Message of what was to happen. I was simply speaking for the both of us so we both didn't have to. You shouldn't be throwing out accusations like that. Be curious not critical (Pretty funny considering what your name is currently).

I wasn’t intending to be rude to you, but I can see how I can off the way. It’s one of the issues with method acting; when I see things from my character’s perspective it’s hard to remember there’s a person behind them. You’ve actually been doing quite well at portraying the Emperor as someone so used to getting his way, he lashes out when he doesn’t.
I should have put a disclaimer beforehand that Rebus is speaking on his “own”, not as my direct mouthpiece. Again, my method acting went overboard and I was - still am, actually - tired and stressed from homework when I wrote that. As for the godmodding, I’ve done it myself and thought a reminder would be helpful, but I phrased it badly and should have done it completely out of character. I honestly forget PMs are a thing sometimes, so I rarely consider them.
Anyway, Rebus is kind of a jerk and I can make him leave the Emperor alone if you want. Alternatively, he’d be perfectly willing to have the passive aggressivity fight, assuming there are no hard feelings out of character. It might be interesting to push him off the rails and see where it goes, honestly. The plot line you’re going towards sounds interesting as well - I do have a practically invincible monster sitting in a field because it can’t find the person it’s supposed to be killing. Perhaps the Emperor could bargain with it, and I could showcase a more civil interaction. Although I think the trial should come first.

My apologies for jumping to conclusions. Thank you for clarifying on that misunderstanding. And yes, your plot line does seem interesting and I'd be totally willing to explore it after the Dreamsith plot line .

I totally get it. I actually had to set myself aside when the Emperor had an argument with Sain. It was a pain to have to deal with him but after I told Dragonslayer that there were no hard feelings we came to an understanding where he would leave to let the Emperor stay as a serious character.

We both mutually jumped to conclusions, and I’m glad we could explain our actions.
Rebus glowers as yet another forbiddance is pronounced by his Author. At least this one would end if the Emperor contacted him voluntarily, unlike the whole Template thing.
@oOklA thE shInyYyy @Ookla the BaconRebus crackles out of existence to sulk, leaving behind a trove of now uncontrolled advanced nanotechnology. Nothing bad seems to have happened yet, though, and the firework panel is still there…
