The Emperor causes a portal to appear next to Sain (Notice how I still capitalize his name because the Emperor still has respect underneath his anger. lol) And he pushes him in. closing the portal and going elsewhere so nobody can follow him.

“Um, hello?” The traveler stares at the Emperor with a slightly stunned expression. (She and Tam had already been here, and so were immune to the no-following allowed rule)

Before the emperor can do that, sain goes insubstantial, the push going through him (this armor may or may not be... something.) and then a second portal opens, and he goes through that one, popping up near the eMPEROR.

The traveler yelps, hitting Sain in the face by reflex as he pops out of a portal next to her.

Good thing sain's face is covered in mech armor.

The traveler yelps again, cradling her likely broken hand. “Hey! What do you think you’re doing?”

"Bugging tHE eMPEROR." sAIN said, the capitalization there for that expressed purpose.

“The Emperor? That guy over there? Why are you bugging him?”

“Because I can, obviously. And because I offered to help him, and he attacked me. Multiple times, I might add.” Sain made a face.

"Oh." The traveler frowns at Sain. "Where are we? Also, are you a Narrator?"

“Nope! But I have one helping me out. Also, I have this very cool armor that helps me. Also, I dunno where we are.”

I kid you not. This made me laugh so hard my teacher told me to be quiet.

I did see it, but it's tricky for me to respond to- the plotline can't actually advance in certain ways at this time.

I suppose I can make a response.

"It has been five minutes," said Reven.

Ahh, that makes sense, I understand now :D

Ivisyre groaned, and continued to wait.

"Everyone might be unique, but weapons that can damage Narrators are not." Unintelligible paced restlessly. "Mordite Blades have similar effects. They can cause unhealing or at least very slowly healing wounds. Even Narrators can be permanently damaged by them. So maybe someone who knows about Mordite injuries would be able to help you!"

Sequence didn't respond for a moment, as she was pre-occupied with a particularly nasty fit of coughing. When it finally subsided, she proceeded to vomit onto the deck. Wiping her mouth with her sleeve and groaning, she sat back in her chair. "Perhaps..." More coughing. "Perhaps that would be a good idea..."

Quick question relating to Mordite @Ookla the Bacon @Ookla the nostealnamepls  @Anyone else who might have information on this subject

Spoiler

What exactly does an injury inflicted by a Mordite blade look like? I've always imagined it looks something like a regular injury, except the flesh turns black and sort of stagnant looking, and the skin around it loses some color, and the whole area just sort of looks frozen so to say.

sAiN sees Tam. “I think I recognize you! Maybe.”
was Tam with Bat when I gave Bat the Notblade? Otherwise, the reason he recognizes Tam would be Shoe.

Hey guys, could we let the Emperor retire for this kind of goofiness. I think a different character would be better for that subject considering I'm trying to have the Emperor be more serious of a character.

*sigh*
fine. I’ll stop pestering him.

A note fell down to Sain, and he sighed. “You’re no fun,” he told the emperor, and teleported away.

@Ookla the Inarticulate

i dunno, but I dooo know that if The Emperor had fought Sain, he would have found out. *non-threatening grin*

"By the grace of the Celestial Gods!" The Emperor praised. "hE'S Gone!"

I had to throw in one more capitalization joke.

Also, ignore the edit to that post.

I've always imagined it looks kind of like a normal stab wound surrounded by super severe frostbite, where the skin turns all black and charcoal-y. In addition to that, I imagine flaking of the skin, with chunks falling off every now and again. Oh, and also, it would fricking hurt.

@OOKLA the strange

We are reversing time back to when the Emperor flicked Sain through warp space so that we can keep the seriousness and plot development for the Emperor, so Asher wouldn't have been involved with anything concerning the two of them in that situation. Just wanted to let you know so that you wouldn't be confused with later plots involving either of them.

Mmmhmmm

also, I keep on forgetting Pyk has flopping Mordite.

As if by some Authorical intervention, this stuff was reversed. Pyk entered his suit, and looked around. “What now?”

@Ookla the Bacon

I need a replllllyyyyyyyy

Tenth looked at the shard, then hesitantly took a nearby device - it was made of the Adari, and placed the shard inside, pressing a button. Sure enough, a yellow Strand burst from the Shard, just barely not reaching the end of the device. He showed it to Charles.
