He begins to gather the smoke that has not yet dissipated into his hands. "You see. The reason I drink these," He says motioning to his vials while continuing to swirl the smoke. "Is to keep my body in its complete state during planar travel." He tosses a vial to you. "The Planar Rift tends to rip the average body to shreds if you don't have a protectant."

He shakes his head and smiles. "I'll doubt you'll need the elixir though. You seem to handle things like this with ease."

He finishes swirling the smoke and he uncorks another vial and lets a single drop fall onto the still spinning smoke. as it touches it fills the smoke with vibrant scarlet color that begins to enlarging the shape. The smoke starts to spark and spin more rapidly. It reaches a point of speed where it starts to crackle and a planar gate starts to appear in the center of this swirling mixture.

Sylas looks to Ladybug with yet another smile. "You might want to hold onto something." He says as he gets to one knee, holding his spectacles with a tight grip.

When the process is complete a sonic boom erupts from the gate, a wave of force coming from it. "Are you ready?" He asks. He begins to approach the planar gate.

 Sort of… it is less of a biological thing and more of… Not much is known about it, but it is known that the Adari appears, structured, in nature much too often. Our people have been theorizing, and believe that the purist state of the Adari is in an artificial intelligence. 
 

I’m trying really hard to only use info about the Adari, and not the Strands… but you kinda need both to properly explain it.
