Kion wonders what happened to the first couple of walls, then realizes the number could have some other significance. He then follows Perseus as he begins walking.

Kion shakes Madness/Casi’s hand. “My name is Kion. I take it you’re a Narrator.” Both from the magic, and the frivolity and oddity.
Rebus’s hologram projector keeps writing. “I like Madness! I’m not sure why - I blame Author things. Regardless, the fact that you specified sense indicates there won’t be any lasers, which is unfortunate. Which sixth sense does the Notblade affect? My first thought was proprioception, but I don’t know if that works.”

"The sixth sense is of course the sense us Narrators use to read the exact wording of a post!"

Madness shook her head. "I'm no Narrator. I was once... more powerful. But that was not here. Not now."

"I remember everything." the traveler continues staring around in all directions. "Everything after I was created, at least."

Perseus started hiking through the woods.

Moni followed, keeping a wary eye on Faunus, who was doing that typical Narrator thing where they floated a few inches above the ground, following you everywhere with the dead stare of low Authorial motivation energy.

"Are you okay?" he asked. "You're kind of acting... weird."

Bat didn’t look particularly intimidated, though.

"I don't know, I think it's kind of cool." Subversion stuck her hand in the ball of Enulling energy to see what would happen.

Subversion turned to look at Tam. "I'm sticking my hand in it. Thought that was obvious."

"Why do you ask?" Subversion narrowed her eyes. "Is there something I should be doing instead?"

"Nope! No! No reason!"

"There is!" Subversion's eyes lit up. "You have to tell me what it is."

Tam gave her a confused look. "I don't . . . there isn't anything."

"Oh." Subversion deflated. "Then why'd you act like there was? Did you want me to think of things I could do with it?"

"I didn't- well I didn't mean to act like there was, if I did. I just . . . didn't want you to touch it."

"Maybe," Subversion said with a look that said she hadn't heard what Tam had just said, "I could use it somehow! Perhaps I could make an... Enulling grenade?"

Tam blinked. "Why are you acting like this?"

"Like what?" Subversion summoned a miniature pocket dimension with an extra-powerful vacuum inside, trying to get the Enulling energy into it. "I'm acting like I normally do."

"Oh! Yeah, of course!" he said, letting it dissipate. "I'm so sorry, I forgot about, well, you know." he said awkwardly.

"Are you sure about that? I know I haven't known you for very long, but . . . something's definitely off."

Maybe it had to do with the fact that she'd physically sectioned off a part of her personality.

"No, I'm acting totally normal. Say, how much would you dislike it if your brother became possessed by the soul of that Enuller who held you captive?"

"How long was I gone?"

He looked around. Then he checked the page count.

"I know," Platypus told him. "My Author is dying out here."

Sighing, he returned himself to his former height. "I'm going to see if Natsu's training qualifies as Enuller training, and if not," he took a breath, "as much as I despise them, I'm going to train with them."

Platypus breathed an unnoticeable sigh of relief. Finally that one had made a good decision. He was pretty confident that whoever Natsu was, their training didn't count. Especially because he was pretty sure they were a Narrator.
