Mist enveloped him, and everything went black.

Cricket stood in front of Omen, next to Tam. "Now leave this place, and do not return until you are ready."

This blade crumbled into dust moments after contact, and Moni stepped back out of range. She glanced down at the dagger in her hand. Nameless could make this thing change forms... This would be a lot easier with a sword.

Cricket nodded, gulping. What had he done in the trial?

is she saying this to Perseus via connection or as just a thought to herself?

She said a lot of things- mostly she was angry at your father; she was horrified at what he'd done.

But she told me to tell you that she loved you.

Um . . .

A door appeared, and Shoe walked through it to the other side.

That was weird.

She sighed. C'mon Cricket, let's go.

@Ookla the Irreplaceable

Cricket nodded, turning away and making a portal. Let's find Shoe and Beosta and the others. I need some time to think. All this time I had a plan. Get to the Dreamsmith, go find the master and kill him. Now, I don't know. he admitted.

If Beosta had been aware, she would have felt very grateful and doubly vindicated.

Alright. She took them back to the beach-

"-Why is it raining pebbles?" She made think metal canopy over them and Shoe and pulled Beosta under it as well.

"What happened while we were gone."

Um . . . a lot of things, Shoe said. How did your adventure go?

She sighed. "Not well, I'm afraid."

“That’s not good,” Beosta muttered, still angry. She still wore the green dress, and she felt quite cold without her cloak and quite vulnerable without her crossblade

Cricket sighed. "I... failed." he said, simply. "and killed more people."

Both Tam and Shoe looked at him, worried.

"In the vision?"

Are you okay?

The dress shifted and transformed back into her normal clothing. Her crossblade appeared on the sand beside her.

Asher doesnt believe him "are you sure? If there is anything I can do to help I'll do it."  crap im such a screw up, what was I thinking attacking him? Gosh.

Dint shrugged through the pain. “I’m fine.” Behind him, a Husk appeared from a street, rushing at them.

“Where was it you went, anyway?” Beosta asked.

Thanks, she told Tam.

Fortunately for the inanimate forces of the Thread, they did not have a face to be slapped across. As the animate forces tried, they simply over-extended and fell. If the inanimate forces could have, they would have laughed.

"Yeah. They weren't real people, but they could've been. I killed them without bothering to wonder who they were. They needed to die. So I killed them. But... I don't know, I still feel like a monster."

Asher saw it and instantly went into protect mode. I hurt him so I will not let anything else hurt him. they moved infront of dint and put their hand out shooting a small explosion right at the Husk.

It stumbled back, blue purple dust covering it. Dint looked back at the Husk, and Pyk, slowest to react, weaves a Cast around the beast.

Dint laughed. “Thanks.”

they nod. "Uh its my pleasure. It's what I need to do. I hurt you, so I will not let you get hurt anymore. I am sorry, again. Still" please someone save me this kid sucks at talking. You need to go take an english class or something, learn how to speak to people. asher put their hand down back to their side.

Tam doubted that. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Beosta.

Your brother? Shoe said. No.

Your mom also asked me to check in on your siblings, by the way.

I guess maybe we could do that, if Cricket’s feeling up to it.

Kion turns towards her, determination in his eyes. “You’re right. I can still help people, and really, I have more time now than I ever have. At the next station, let’s get off and transfer to the ‘still away from the Render but also towards some people that need our help and existed beforehand because making up some people in crisis is morally dubious’ train.”

A smile curled Faunus’ lips, as the train suddenly started to slow, and then came to a stop. She stood smoothly, that twinkle once more in her lovely green eyes. “Let’s go then.” Exiting the train, she moved to board the other one, searching in her pocket for the tickets.

Kion exits the train as well, looking around in slight awe at the much larger hub station. “Is it just me, or is this one newer? I’m not sure I’ve seen locomotives like that before.”
Rebus smiles from the front car of an incoming train, manipulating the controls with utility fog while Narrating the station gradually more modern. Not that it would matter, of course. He was just bored, and high tech was such a nice aesthetic.
The Render stands in the way of the train tracks originating from the desert station, waiting for a train it can stop.

Unintelligible walked up to the group. "Hi. Are you guys on an adventure?"

Faunus frowned, no, she hadn’t made the station this big- she redoubled her Narration on the train station, making it smaller again, only a few trains lined up, one boarding ahead. She pulled the tickets out of her pocket, with the destination he had asked for, moving to give them to the conductor.
