Shoe shrugged and got back to his feet. Alright then. Shall we? he gestured to the jungle.

Beosta grinned and followed. Gaioh and Bat trailed them.

Beosta loved the trees. They made everything feel so cozy and friendly and closed in, even though she was sure it was dangerous here. It felt like everything wanted to tell her secrets.

It was basically just that- nothing but trees and the occasional tropical bird.

This is . . . less interesting than I thought it would be, Shoe said.

"I was scared out of my wits. But you should give yourself credit; your dancing was better than anything I could do unaided, even when you slipped up with the Narration."

“But you see, that’s the thing. None of it feels real.” Faunus said, leaning forward in her seat, “It’s just words.” As she mused on that, the reality of the train flickered, dumping them for a moment in the desert, before she regained control, and they were once more, sitting in the train, landscape flying by through the windows. She paused, mouth open to say more, then she shut it with a click, feeling an embarrassed blush fill her pale freckled cheeks. “Um, thank you, I guess.”

“Are you kidding? Look! Mushrooms!” Beosta bent to see them closer. “Aww, they’re so small!”

Kion smiles. "For both of us, words are powerful. Narration is a particularly powerful word, although you get more out of it than I ever will. I saw the words that make up everything, and I came back from it. Despite knowing that all it's made from  is words, at least to me this world is real."

She nodded, leaning back in her seat, brow furrowed in thought. Faunus needed to believe this world was real, because that belief made it so. Smiling gently at Kion, she said, “Thank you, I think I understand.”

Kion chuckles. "That's good, because I've never been so confused in my life. Some things make sense, but in general, this place is very strange. But as long as we understand different things and do our best to explain, we can both get less confused with time."

He peaked over her shoulder.

I wouldn't touch them- but yeah, they are pretty tiny.

"Don't worry; I'm not dumb." She smiled at the tiny mushrooms and then stood up again. "I love it here."

Oh, really? Why?

"I dunno. It's so alive. Like you can hear everything growing. And the mushrooms!" She held out her hands as if presenting them. "See? And everything's so close it feels like a hug."

He looked around. It's a bit too humid for me, but yeah, there is something nice about it.

"Ooooh, crumbling ruins!" She ran over to what looked like four stone walls well worn away. A house, maybe.

She raised that questioning eyebrow at him, “We? You and I specifically, or are you talking about me rhetorically again? Because I don’t know what’s worse, being talked about behind my back, or being talked about rhetorically to my face.” The corner of her mouth twitched up in a smirk, those green eyes of hers getting that twinkle in them again.

I do not have strict geographical plans. Do whatever :D

Well that's certainly . . . interesting. He followed her and began inspecting the fallen structure.

She stripped some vines away from it. "Dang, it's worn down. Ooooh, no mortar! The stones fit together so perfectly. That's so cool."

Shoe watched her for a moment, smiling.

You seem happier this morning.

She blushed. "Oh. I guess so. It's been a pretty nice morning." And I don't think he's too mad at me, so that's nice.

Kion stumbles over his words for a second, trying to get out of the verbal trap. "I don't know - I assumed - I'm not saying you need to stay, but I've spent more time with you here than with anyone else, and I thought we could help each other figure things out, about what it means to be a Narrator and feel deeply that reality is malleable and thus unimportant, and what it means to not be a Narrator somewhere they're seemingly omnipresent, and can do anything I can do without risking themselves."

Asher looked about for the purple stuff and grabbed it. “Like does he swallow it or just splash it on him” Asher said praying the wall would hold a bit longer.

[It doesn’t fully cancel its powers… it just gets rid of the Strands that it touches. If you find a way to cover it in the powder, you would cancel its powers completely. It should take two or three more minutes for Pyk to recover.]

Pyk was finally able to blink. It felt… weird. He twitched a finger. Some objects around him began to float slightly.

A single, tiny Strand peeked through the now almost open door. It dissipated before it could get through, though.

[You will need to get as much of that as possible before the Strands get that wide enough to get past the Adari barrier. You don’t have much time.]

@Ookla the Bacon

What else would I do? Wriulin was always who guided my choices.
Tenth genuinely didn’t know. He knew of other things… but… not what they were.

He wasn't?

Thanks. She smiled.

Oh... but... I should probably talk to my dad. She frowned. What do I tell him? Shoe, I... I really don't wanna go back. But I probably should. But I don't want to.

Asher glanced at pyk. “Alright.” They went to getting as much of the power as they could. Hurry i dont wanna test if a dead person can die right now. im hurrying alright.
