*sigh*

imagine for a second that I have no idea how much time has progressed, no clue of any plot development, nor any idea of what's currently happening

Now give me a summary please

Called it, Tam thought smugly to herself.

"So your Beosta's father, then? Interesting."

Then she teleported away, leaving the man stranded in the desert.

She reappeared right behind Beosta.

"BEOSTA-! Oh, wait, you're right here."

Shoe nodded.

Um, I guess it went . . . fine.

No. Just one.

Beosta jumped when Tam teleported to her. “What?” She snapped, pulling out her cross blade. “We’re kind of under attack! Teleport us all somewhere or something!”

Why?

Bacon snapped his fingers and conjured several domes of force around the party. "Alright! Fight time! Let's see if we can't get this mysterious follower of yours to show themselves."

can Mordite pierce the barriers?

Shoe pulled out his battle-ax. You ready? he said to Beosta.

The temperature under the awning dropped by at least twenty degrees. Pathetic NAME CALLING?! Subversion's hands tightened into fists. "Perhaps I should abandon you here. Or maybe, since you like the heat of the desert so well, you'd prefer to be left somewhere a little hotter? I hear the volcanic regions of Embryar are lovely this time of year." Her eyes glittered darkly.

Faunus scowled at Subversion, but didn’t rise to the bait, considering Tam was still standing in between them.

Subversion turned her (literally) ice-cold glare onto Tam. Then, reluctantly, she backed up a step. The temperature went back to normal. "My... apologies, Faunus." She glared at the green-eyed woman. "I suppose I shall excuse your rudeness, on account of your current state of distress." At least for now.

“I forgive you, only because it seems kindness is a certain failing of yours.” The young woman said, flipping her long strawberry blonde hair over her shoulder, as she glared back at Subversion.

Gah, you’re kidding- I tried to copy and paste, but no, let’s just send it instead.

A spa day? "Please. I'm not the one who's been stuck in the desert for so long I look like something that cat dragged in."

Faunus bristled again, crossing her arms across her chest, and giving Subversion another scowl. “At least I looked like I was actually doing something, instead of sitting around in my pretty little princess dress.”

These are special barriers. :P

The arrows were plucked from the air by giant hands emerging from the barrier.

Bacon clapped his hands again. The air around the group shimmered.

"Of course that's your reasoning." Subversion sighed. Then she spoke again in a calm, ethereal voice. "The trial is nigh. The secrets hidden shall be revealed. Watch, and tremble for the fear of destruction that could be."

I wa-The Adventurers plot. They will break the thread in their arrogance.-s bringing us here so that we could update the prophecy about the Plotblades! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working. Probably because your presence offends the prophetic energies gathered in this place almost as much as it offends me!" Subversion spun around and stalked off angrily, dress shifting into a pair of trousers, a shirt, and a dark grey cloak for no reason in particular.

"Well, what other reason would there be?" Interesting, he thought, making sure his thoughts were still masked. That seemed to be some sort of prophecy. At the trial the names will be revealed? The location too, maybe? Maybe I should get some Ennullers to come to the trial.

In the background, the paperwork that Clemency was filling out had changed.

More prophecy? And she doesn't seem to know that she's doing it.

Platypus was very tempted to point out the fact that in Paper Mario, Peach wears a black dress that kinda looks like it's made of shadows.
