She eyed him warily. "Why? Who are you?"

Are you sure? He looked at her suspiciously. Are you still taking some of my anxiety?

“My name is Hidel Debonfield,” he said. “Narrator, please.”

She shook her head. “Liberia controls that. She basically has to give me permission. I’m fine.”

Liberia lol

Okay . . . if you're sure. He walked outside, fiddling with his hands anxiously.

Shoe cringed. Erk- thanks, Livetha.

Shoe took it. Okay.

What's it say? Do you have anything in mind?

The card read "Franklin Johnson- Consultant" and had a phone number on it.

Tenth inspected the object petulantly refusing to be imaginative :).   What is it?

That is prismite, more commonly referred to as dream crystal. We will be entering it, similar to how the doctor entered your mind.

Okay . . . if you're sure. He walked outside, fiddling with his hands anxiously.

“I am looking for a Narrator,” he said firmly.

Beosta opened her mouth to reassure him again, then closed it. She was probably just bothering him. Probably just part of the scenery. Just part of the adventure.

"Why?" Tam didn't want to immediately reveal that she was a Narrator to this stranger.

NWVFVSIUNC THAT MAKES ME SAD *sad*

Shoe sighed. Something was definitely bothering her.

But if she didn't want to talk about it . . . he would respect that.

They approached the rest of the group. Hey, everyone.

“Because I’m looking for my daughter,” he sighed. “Is this an interrogation?”

Bat jumped, and Gaioh snickered at him for jumping.

Sorry for hitting you over the head, by the way, he said to the latter.

“Dang, girl. You need to take a chill pill.” Lady Bug shook a bottle in front of Subversion’s face.

Subversion glared daggers at Lady Bug.

Nogard went into the hallway and began counting doors. Unfortunately, he mixed up his directions and took the third right instead.

Nogard didn't find any stairs down this way, but he did find a stairwell leading up.

Platypus glared at Subversion. "Did it have to be a desert? I hate deserts. No water at all."

"What, are you weak to dehydration or something?" Subversion grinned. "And I'm no prophet either, so I don't see why you're being so judging about my prophecy."

6 hours ago, Immortal Platypus said:

"Am I cleared with medical? Do I need to be? If not, I'll just stay with them."

"I don't know." Said the lead medical adventurer. "Do you need to be cleared by us? You're the expert on Narrator biology."

A voice whispered in the area. Oh, he does.

The Brave Adventurer shivered. I dislike doing this with so many Narrators and their like around. Things would be much simpler if they didn't exist.

"Not quite, but water is nice. People are so slow in it, and it makes it much easier to beat them up. And me? Judge you? I would never."

As they did so, space seemed to stretch around them, whirlwind colors flashing at the edge of vision.

Charles stopped. Alright. Think of an object, and try to make it reality.

Platypus did indeed like Bacon. He made sure to mask that so some Narrator couldn't read his mind. Then he set to work. They weren't doing anything, so he and Clemency started filling out paperwork.

She reappeared right behind Beosta.

"BEOSTA-! Oh, wait, you're right here."

There was a ripple of air that felt slightly warmer than usual, but that was all.

Perhaps not so complicated, at first, suggested Charles. He raised his hand, and a smooth sphere of white stone appeared.
