The consultant's voice was patient, but his finger-tapping betrayed his true emotions.

He may have a certification, but that doesn't make him a good teacher. :P

Shoe sighed again and retried.

He sat there silently for a few more minutes, before-

Hang on . . . there is something there.

Me when I babysit my siblings.

I may have official certification, but I'm not the most patient . . .

Hello!

Uh... Well, are you making a Narrator Less, or will they go by some other name?

Cricket sighed. He was getting tired of explanations. "Evil person trying to find me, has some sort of telepathic connection with me, all that business."

They’ll go by some other name, of course. Who would name their character nameless anyway ;)

"Let's hear it, then!"

"Um, alright." Subversion cleared her throat. "The dread Plotblades will be discovered by... somebody." She shook her head. "Nope. Got nothing."

Selppaenip looked at the envelope, puzzled. "So... am I allowed to read this or not?"

"You are legally allowed to read both the unclassified information" the adventurer gestured to the file Selppaenip had pulled the envelope from. "And the classified information. But we would ask you, for the safety of the thread, not to open that envelope until the trial is underway. It shouldn't change your defense too much."

"Well, you are witnesses for the trial."

Hacob looked at him. Much as he disliked it, that was good reasoning. "Look. If you're right, my bad. I'll apologize for my part in this. But I don't think you're right."

The Brave Adventurer nodded. "As expected. Your kind are short-sighted."

6 hours ago, Immortal Platypus said:

"I've never tried. Could be fun to give it a shot."

"Go right ahead." Subversion waved at Platypus. "See if you can do better than me."

Then maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to sleep at night, without fear of running."

"Well the Great Wizard does have rabbits." Subversion frowned. "It's possible, isn't it? Should we try to find three rabbits in a trench coat?" Subversion snapped her fingers, and suddenly Platypus, Bacon, and her were standing in a barren desert with nothing around for twenty miles at least. The sun burned overhead, and vultures circled. "Maybe a change of scenery will help us make a prophecy."

And yet, while there was nothing around for the said twenty miles, there stood a young woman, not that far off, looking more than a little surprised at the group’s sudden appearance, and somewhat ragged from travel.

“H-hello. . ?” She seemed to ask, hesitantly. Her green eyes were narrowed in doubt, clearly suspicious whether or not what she saw was really there.

The young woman stared at the open door this crazy lady had just walked through, and then blinked, clearly dazed and beyond confused at the hat and confetti. Her green eyes slid from the open door, in the middle of the desert, to the confetti now on the ground, beside her bare feet in the sand.

“What?”

3 minutes ago, NameIess said:

Subversion waved. "Ah, are you an oracle?"

Looking up again sharply at the group, and pushing stray strands of strawberry blonde hair out of her freckled face, the young woman grimaced at the unusual question. Was this all for real? Or had she been out in the sun too long?

”I’m sorry, an oracle? No. . . I don’t think so-“ The young woman said, frowning slightly.

Faunus started back at the banner with her name on it, and jumped again at yet more confetti. What was wrong with these people? More than a little overwhelmed, the young woman sat down in the sand, and ran a hand through her waist length strawberry blonde hair, her trembling fingers getting caught in the travel made tangles.

What was going on?
