Asher nodded in relief as they didnt seem to have any wounds that was good. At least. And the other one. Didn’t either. Granted Asher was sure that they saw the others knock him out so they were probably bad.

Wait wait wait relief? I thought they couldn’t feel emotion?

TP would have grunted, but his nostrils were sealed up. He was going full speed, and this Ghanderflaffle could still catch up? That hardly seemed fair.

Well, he was a slippery Plot-beast when he needed to be. He initiated evasive maneuvers. Surely one of the people on his back would be able to help him out.

The General swung a mace, and a net made from forking lightning shot towards TP. "I will not allow you to escape!"

"Hmm," said Selppaenip. "That does seem problematic. Is there anything we can do about that while fleeing from your former compatriot?"

He gestured to the General.

The Great Wizard shook his head. "No. I need to be close to them in order to do anything."

Indeed. We are told you know of their nature.

"I will answer your questions if I can. What is it you want to know about them?" The Dreamsmith rolled up the map, nodding, and stood. "I hope you don't mind if we walk while you interview me. My quest is rather urgent." He set off into the forest.

Gail tried desperately to wake up Qodi on the back of TP, but that wasn’t going very well. “We’re screwed,” she whimpered. “We are screwed.”

"Yeah I did, me. When we were at Soul World. You saw two perspectives of each person, right? One is our body, what we look like. The other is our soul. Human souls appear as a pillar of light, Enuller souls a pillar of darkness, withergeists, a cloud of darkness. You get it. But me, I was a pillar of light with a ribbon of darkness around me. Two souls. Me and an Enuller. The Enuller saved last night. But what I did to that man, what I can do now, terrifies me. What if I lose control and Enull you?? I'm lucky enough I didn't unconsciously Enull your healing last night? I don't know how to control my powers. I need a mentor."

"Oh, I've had practice handling myself against Ennullers! Only the strongest of them can directly counter Narration, anyhow." Bacon tapped his chin. "But you're right, a mentor would be good. Fortunately for you, the Ennullers actively recruit anyone with the appropriate ability. In fact..."

There was a thump down below, followed by an inverted-sound scream.

As the mist cleared, the remaining withergeists fled in the face of the sun.

Maybe a few guards left in the basement with the prisoners.

Velaxeron was flying high above his territory, on his usual inspection. Everything seemed fine, until he came across a small village, shrouded in mist. Velaxeron, curious, dived closer. He saw exactly what he feared: withergeists. The dragon roared, angered at them. They had made a deal not to enter his territory, and now, now they would suffer. He let loose a massive roar, fire springing from his throat and scorching the village, causing withergeists to fade away in the heat. The intruders would feel his wrath.

Since this is a storyline wide event, I'm going to go ahead and tag everybody involved. @Through The Living Glass @The Halcyon Girl @xinoehp512 @The sarcasm spren @LIV_SB-DustBringer @SpiritOfWrath(?) @anybodyelseIforgot.

Bat yelped, scooped Tam into his arms, and dashed for cover. He barely made it before the fire arrived.

Asher heard before they saw. They grabbed the two uncontious people and dashed under some cover. They pushed the uncontious people fist. Luckily due to their fire powers Asher didnt get hurt by the fire but it did burn one of their boots. “Oh come on i just got that boot.”

I am sorry…

You are now the target of my Nullifying.

Tenth saw the dragon and gave a strange laugh. The dragon’s right foot fell through the ground.

Pyk, not in sight of Tenth, didn’t hear the laugh. He did see the foot, though. And that was… curious, to say the least. He activated the insulation tech on his suit, letting the flame wash over him harmlessly.

I’ll give Asher something to be doing while im gone. 😀

Asher went to see if anyone of the two were hurt. Beostas sorry foot had gotten burnt. Ashers medical reflexes kicked in. They quickly took survey of the burn. Wasn’t too bad, gonna be hard to walk on later. Not gonna be to hard to heal, hopefully. Asher held their hand over her foot. It started glowing a blue-gold is that a color?

Uuuuhhhhh ye. I Nullified the Normal forces against your foot… well it’s more complicated than that but that’s the gist of it.

Basically all the forces working to keep your foot from overlapping with other atoms are gone now.

The red rabbits who had been stalking the Silent Hero noticed Platypus, then froze, crimson eyes locked on his face. [He is the tastiest one. He is... he is Light. we must eat him. Eat the Light. Consume the Light. Destroy the Light.] Their eyes became pitch black pits of pure darkness. They moved towards Platypus as one, and a faint dark mist began to rise around them.

The red rabbits froze as the light hit them. The darkness in their eyes faded, and they slumped into unconsciousness.

Platypus watched as the Great Wizard zoomed away. Getting all those rabbits Hacob had shifted back to normal would take some work. A quick message to Hacob later, and the plan was set.

Quote

"Regardless, they're dead! Killed by those you called friends! We can end this witho-" Valiant's words trailed off and became inaudible as Nogard was carried off by TP.

The Valiant One glared at Platypus. "We're trying to end this! We just want the Great Wizard in custody before he can claim the Blades for himself!"

"That's what I'm trying to tell you! The Dreamsmith does not think he will try to claim the Blades for himself! The Brave Adventurer's reasoning for believing that was the case was almost entirely built upon the letters with the Dreamsmith, and I have visited the Dreamsmith. I have more information that is vital for you to know!"

Quote

The rabbits were knocked backwards, but then something strange happened. Instead of dissipating, the energy swirled around the invisible rabbits, darkening and flowing into them. [This is tasty! Give us more!] Stronger and larger than before, the rabbits attacked once again.

Hacob cocked his head, receiving a message from Platypus. Well alright then, that shouldn't be too hard. With some minor Narration, the course TP would be taking would take those with him (including the Great Wizard) straight to him.

In the meantime... these rabbits would need to be taught a lesson.

okay huh.

Veleraxon looked bemused as his foot fell through the ground. So the humans thought they could nullify, did they? Well they had a bigger bite than they could chew. Once he had seen the humans he had decided not to harm him, but this one, this one deserved a lesson. Veleraxon took off to the skies, careful not to rest his foot on the ground and unleashed another wave of flames, at the Enuller specifically. It wouldn't be enough to kill him, but he wanted just a little bit of revenge.

Shoe was finally finished rounding up the survivors in the basement.

All the guards were locked in assorted cages now; he wasn't sure what to do with them yet.

@Through The Living Glass okok, I'm fine with changing this, but what about Tam becomes a dragon rider with Veleraxon? (or maybe Shoe, but Tam is more interesting as a character without a current arc per se. Like Shoe has a lot going on, Tam, not so much.)
