She has mordite blades- that's the reason they worked on the withergeists. Unless you want to say she doesn't, and they didn't.

Tenth cocked his head curiously when he heard this. Such a capable material would be very useful for the upcoming A-44, after he was done testing this. He wondered how he could get his hands on it.

True, however, they weren't. They are known as the Yin Yang Moon Sickles. One is infused by the power of order(and a few others) and the other is infused with entropy(or chaos)

Tenth looked nervously at the man. Something Bacon had said… only the lesser Withergeists were overly affected… and the way people acted about Withergeists… A suspicion was working its way into his mind.

He looked at Tam. If you can here me… I believe this man is a Withergeist.

The withergeists suddenly began to move about, if agitated. They began to push forwards into the light, hissing softly. The man drew his sword calmly. "Quickly," he said. "If they gather here in large enough numbers, they may overwhelm us."
