The person sheathed her knives in an x shaped sheath. She walked to the small child who was looking frightened sitting under the lamp. She glanced over to the person who seemed injured but ultimently decided her team could help her. She spoke to the child. Her voice was muffled from her mask and it was kind of cold

”hey everything is gonna be ok”

She sounded unsure of how to comfort the kid

The spirit faded slightly, then returned. It seemed that fire was not capable of destroying them.

They are not good-aligned. Like, at all.

Are you sure you want your character to be a withergeist?

Sure! Right now there are a few plotlines going on. There's one group doing a fight with a guild of Adventurers that has beef with them. There's another group meeting with a powerful Narrator named Onyx in order to petition him for help. The biggest group is approaching a village that is infested with dark spirits with the goal of cleaning it up.

"Are you aware of present happenings on the thread? The two newest Plotblades that will likely be revealed soon in the future? I am going on a quest to prevent the claiming of them by others, and then to reforge them to a less destructive state. I was shown a vision of what could happen if the lesser of the blades was claimed without the greater. The Thread was destroyed, and everything you and your kin have worked to keep in here got out, or got destroyed. So I come to you for assistance. I was warned by the Dreamsmith that the Blades would tempt those that strive to claim them, so I require Nullification of the powers when I get to them so that I can take them to the Dreamsmith and reforge them so the Thread is not in danger."

A withergeist is just a tad more than that. They are the embodiment of Chaotic Dark energy. Think the embodiment of Destruction itself.

uh... not really withergeists. There is a reason that they're bound to this thread, and it's different than the reason Narrators are.

they aren't a somebody. and by nature are evil. even evolved withergeists would be evil, as that is infused into their essence.

Withergeists are more of a force of nature. Not 'evil', exactly- evil means choosing wrong, and withergeists don't really have a choice to be anything other than they are. But they are exclusively motivated by destruction.

She could be bonded to a withergeist, however- potentially against her will.

She walked over to them holding the kid. The small child was clinging to her like i was her only hope. She glances at Salem.

She didnt sound to concerned about the spirits trying to surround her. She had a glow about her that kept the spirits at bay.

Am I the only one who visually imagines withergeists as like... a cross between a dementor and the ink creatures from Bendy and the Ink Machine? With like, some extra ghost-y fog?
