I’m at a party tonight so I won’t be on. Sorry…

You're good. No worries!

Bacon was confused as to why Beosta shouldn't be canonically thinking.

Beosta thought that since her thoughts were circular and not particularly relevant, they weren’t important canonically.

She also forgot to worry about narrators in her brain.

"What happened to your home-? Oh, right, it blew up, didn't it?"

"Not-not exactly. I ran away from my home, and Welderan was a place I took refuge maybe two years ago. After six months, it just died. I haven't stopped running since." Cricket said, breathing heavily.

"Because you're being chased?"

"I don't know, it's just... everywhere I go, disaster follows. I'm worried if I get too attached, it'll be all the harder to let it go." Cricket wiped his eyes and falls to his knees, tears flowing.

"Ah. Is this a curse thing or just a mental conceit?"

"You really are so blunt." Cricket said, eyeing him. "Something wants me and is hunting me. I've never seen them but I can feel something approaching and disaster comes where I go. It's as if somebody will keep me running or capture me."

"Comes of being a Narrator. Now, this hunter something sounds interesting! We'll have to go up against it at some point, I imagine, assuming that you don't get forgotten. Do you know anything about it at all?"

Cricket shook his head. "Am I really confining my inner fears to you of all people? I know nothing but he spoke to me once, said his servant was coming to bring me home. It was the day I discovered my powers, the day I left home.

"I mean, it's not like I'd use them against you or anything. Totally not my style. And he, you say? Did you see his face or was it a telepathy broadcast deal?"

"I just heard whispers, nothing else."

I agree, the plot is very repetative.

I just feel like there's a lot of unnecessary drama and plot points that go nowhere or end up being pointless/counteractive.

Ex (spoilers):

When Keefe runs away, only to be easily convinced by his friends to come back without any conflict real conlict; they argued briefly and then he just was like "okay" and left (if i'm remembering correctly).

yeah, that's kinda what I mean by they don't learn.

Since the plot wasn't going to progress any time soon, Bacon set up a kitchen and began giving cooking lessons.

If he wasn't busy in a vision/trial thing, Platypus would have attended.

Bacon would have been offended, but the Dreamsmith was objectively cool. And @NameIess was objectively missing. Bacon hoped nothing bad had happened to him.

"I'm told those are dangerous! I try to avoid having them whenever possible."

Shoe did a funny little dance. Because he wanted to.

Bacon retorted with a one-minute breakdancing sequence. Because he felt like it.

Shoe huffed and sat down. Then he started to make a little sandcastle. Because he felt like it and was bored.

Bacon made a castle out of cake, because he was hosting a cooking show. And cake was delicious.

Shoe did his best to ignore the cake castle and kept building his tiny sandcastle.

Bacon added a candy dragon besieging his cake castle.
