Oh it won’t be that easy. Did I not tell you this is not of the Plot? It is safe from those who can manipulate the Plot. Shaking her head, she twisted the thoughts of the man, and his vision was filled with raspberries. He suddenly lost all control, a second nature taking over.
Hehe I gave you DID. It’s a Madness. But don’t worry, I have a plan to fight back Madness.

Intellect was in the shadows, watching. Studying. He disappeared, then held his hand up. A small stone appeared. A recreation of the Archstone, but more ordered. He used it to access the Plot, and appeared next to Subversion.

Hey. Let me show you what is real. Intellect struck away Madness’ influence, and let her see clearly. He stretched his hand, and a Blade appeared in front of her.

"Oh dear," said Bacon the Tax Collector in a reedy voice. "This won't do at all."

"Yeah," said Bacon the Bard. "You're so boring!"

Bacon the Tax Collector shook his head sadly, ignoring Bacon the Bard. "You see, if the Archstone is not part of the plot of TLT... well, to put it quite frankly, it doesn't exist! Which is a terrible shame. I'm afraid I'll have to confiscate it for the good of the thread."

Madness waved her hand, and Bacon the Tax Collector imagined he was surrounded by riches. It doesn't have to exist to distract you, does it? Besides. All it is, is a pattern. A way for me to focus my energies. The make of my world, and the manipulation of others.

Intellect disappeared from Subversion's mind and appeared in Bacon's. Heard you were having problems with a pesky Madness. No worries, here you go. Intellect showed him the truth, and he cleared his mind of any of Madness' influence.

While they were battling, Wrath escaped, taking his Blade that was not a Blade with him.

"Boo!" cried Bacon the Bard. "Who cares? You sound like Onyx!"

Correct. What's been happening on the mountain is the Great Wizard's arrival.

Madness mused. The mortal mind is such a strange thing. Madness isn't ever real, but I claim in my grasp the strongest of minds. Children quiver in fear of the dark, find themselves unable to act, but there is nothing there. And that is what you are, aren't you? Just children when faced with my immense age.

Intellect laughed. Just ignore her. And here. Have control back. Intellect banished the second identity.

Wrath was travelling as far as he could. He heard an unfamiliar voice. Hey Berin. Long time no see. You broke Mirth, you know that? She was so sad when you left. Almost like your mother. Berin screamed. The suppressed memories returned. Fields of dead.

Yrank, walking back into the room waved to the Old Man. "Hello, it's been a while!" he said.

(Yrank doesn't know about the last 3 pages or so, including the identity of the Great Wizard he had so idolized throughout his life.)

"Woah sir!" Yrank sadi, seeing Bacon the Tax Collector intimidate Bacon the Bard, despite their body-sharing. "How about you step away from this lovely bard over here and we can have a detailed chat about this."

Berin - Wrath - screamed. His body was racked with painful memories. He saw his mother, lying on the ground, choking on her own vomit. He could have saved her, had he been there. He saw a figure in the distance. Ista. She stared at him, and he felt forgiveness in bulk. An unnatural emotion from Mirth's influence. She stepped to him, and she placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay. You were manipulated."

Ista took the Blade that was not a Blade. She proffered it to Intellect, who waved a hand. It dissolved, destroyed.

He reflected on Thaidakar's final words to him as he walked down the path he made. He thought about what had consumed Thaidakar, what threatened to consume him. It all tied back to Plot, didn't it. Interesting. It was peaceful here, in the Creation from Void. Was this what Xino had felt like, all that time ago? Wait. Who's Xino? This peace was something one could never experience in the main-line TLT, something more... complete. Maybe Platypus would have to come back here sometime to experience it once more.

Thank goodness. He's stuck, so he's created a world to spend the rest of his days in. The mist being's thoughts were even fainter than before. Storms, if he'd found his way back out of the void between worlds... no amount of money is worth going up against a monster like that.

Intellect heard this, and he appeared to Subversion. Hey! Wanna get away from Madness and not die? Intellect Connected to Subversion, and banished Madness' influence. There! Also, do you want me to teach you how to use that there Blade? It is a figment of your imagination, but it's a pretty useful one. Its effects cannot be Narrated away, you see. It lets you give any hallucinations you wish to anyone hit by it. And since its imaginary, "hit" can bend the rules.

Tull was still writhing on the ground. Intellect noticed this and freed him from Madness. Sorry. Forgot about you.

Could he really stay here when he hadn't done this yet. No. I can't rest yet. My time is not done, my goal not complete, my peace not true.

He shook off the peace, and looked around. He would return to this world one day. It would be a glorious day. But until then... he must push forward.

He thrust his Luxblade into the air, energy streaming off of it. "I can't do it. I can't stay in this void, even with my Creation. I will not be contained, for I must consult the Dreamsmith! FOR THE GOOD OF TLT!"

With that, the energy from the Luxblade poured into a crackling beam, shooting straight up and Creating a hole in the void. The hole was filled with Light, and it descended upon the world, enveloping it all.

Platypus opened his eyes, back in the misty cavern, Vengeance and Luxblade pointed straight at the misty figure.

"Now, Misty One, take me to the Dreamsmith."

BTW Bacon the Tax Collector is Bacon the Bard's alter ego that took control of his body. :)

Madness screamed in frustration. Intellect was meddling again. She checked on Wrath and saw him weeping with Ista! She communicated with Bacon the Bard. No! You cannot escape me! She turned to Subversion, whom Intellect had given a Blade. She twisted her emotions, driving her Mad with guilt for the death of Valient.

Hey did you read all the stuff I said? Intellect freed you and gave you a mysterious blade.

very possibly, but she never has. "That doesn't make you any less subject to the rules then anyone else," the guinea pig said. "Narrators aren't native here either."

Subversion growled softly. You know what? I'm done with this. She vanished from the mountaintop, feeling tears run down her cheeks at the guilt. She reappeared in a place outside of reality. "Look, Madness? I really hate you. Please, go away. This is your only warning."

Hacob sensed Subversion travel outside reality. On a whim, surprising himself, he teleported to her and gave her a quick hug, then disappeared, confused with himself.

Tull was still writhing on the ground. Intellect noticed this and freed him from Madness. Sorry. Forgot about you.

Tull stopped, looking up to Erif's face. "Are... Are you real?"

"Last I checked, yes."

"We must find the Plotblades. Then I will take them to the Dreamsmith, and he will reforge them into a less dangerous form."

Nogard frowned. "How do we find the Plotblades if we don't know what they're called or what they do?"

Technically they already knew of a few of them. Would they need to retrieve those, too?

"Oh, that's not because I was being mad," explained Bacon the Bard. "@xinoehp512 is notoriously bad at spelling backwards. I mean, just look at his name!"

Alright, I respect that.

"Probably not," Zanitar said. It would be very difficult to separate certain people with their Plotblades, and No One was notoriously hard to find.
