… had been merely dazed., as the plate was far to fragile to penetrate his thick skull. “What? Did the new guy make a move to take over the organization?”

“Worse than that. He discovered the existence of the Plotblades of…” the old man cast a sidelong glance at Selppaenip. “Of those Plotblades.”

Selppaenip blinked. "Master? Who are these people?"

Subversion was suddenly standing next to Bacon, arms crossed. “I was having quite a good time watching from the shadows, thank you very much.”

Let’s say she looks like a woman with black hair in a dress made of shadow.

"That's boooring." Bacon waved a hand, surreptitiously writing something on a piece of paper. "Getting involved is so much more interesting."

1 hour ago, Immortal Platypus said:

"That would be a good idea."

"Well then! Do you know where we could go for more information on him?

1 hour ago, Immortal Platypus said:

If this is outdated, ignore it.

"Yes."

Platypus strode forward and clasped the hand firmly.

...

I skipped several pages. What is this about onyx?

Hacob appeared briefly. "Don't trust Subversion. None of the Narrators are super trustworthy, and Subversion is the least of us! Her favor will be something you really don't want to do."

Then he Narrated himself away, back to where he was before.

Nameless, you have (I think) 197 posts until you have 11111 posts on TLT.

Onyx is Narrating Nogard and Erif. Bacon the Bard isn't allowed to mess with that.

Tull looked at the old man with the staff. “Who is he?”

”Hey Nogard.” Jilu said.

"Where is Shoe?" asked Nogard, his voice worried.

Sandy nodded solemnly.

"Maybe we'll have to get in touch with the one wizard I do know."

Beosta thought for a long time, and wrote a very good contract.

imma just list the terms

1. Livetha will be able to move ten times the speed of normal humans, to be triggered whenever she likes

2. Her hide will be impenetrable and she cannot be crushed by anything

3. She can see perfectly in the dark

4. Her capacity to lend or borrow energy between the two of us will be quadrupled

5. Her metabolism will be four times as efficient

6. She will be immune to drowning, freezing, burning, and overheating

She paused, then added one more thing.

7. She and I will be able to share emotions mentally

”There.”

"Ohoho! Intrigue!" Bacon pulled out a bucket of bacon-flavored popcorn and started chewing. "I knew I could count on you, Subversion."

Stars, he wasn’t supposed to wake up yet.

She smiled anyway, so she wouldn’t be suspicious. “I hope you slept well. We have things to do.”

  Reveal hidden contents

Also Beosta can carry the romantic thing and woo Shoe if it doesn’t fit his character to make moves or think about it; it just might take a while for her feelings to develop.

Shoe wondered what things they had to do.

He stood up and shuffled over to Beotha.

He made a questioning face at Beotha and Bacon.

"Oooh.. That does sound cool! Which world? This one? This one is rather pretty... preserving it would be nice..."

As soon as Platypus touched the figure’s hand, blinding pain shot through his entire being, and mist enveloped him. When his vision cleared, he was standing in a shadowed room surrounded by three cloaked figures holding Mordite daggers. “Kill him!” Said a voice that he recognized as belonging to the misty figure, and the three assassins leapt towards him, blades glittering darkly.

Platypus groaned as he stood up. Stupid pain. Always hurts.

Then he kept into action. Sliding underneath one, he summoned his Luxblade. Then he thought about that decision. He did not want to find out firsthand what happened when Mordite and a Luxblade met. He dismissed it, and Created a normal Blade, strong enough to survive hits from Mordite. He backed up, keeping all three in front of him.

1. Livetha will be able to move ten times the speed of normal humans, to be triggered whenever she likes

Subversion read the contract, then nodded. "Very well." Reaching to the side, she summoned her Narrationblade in the form of a pen, then signed her name nonchalantly in glowing energy. "Here you go. Hold up your end of the bargain and I'll hold up mine."

"This person, you mean? He is an old friend of mine, from the days before I learned the secrets of normalcy." discomfort flashed across ...'s face as he turned back to the old man "I cannot help you. I am not the man I used to be. I wish I could do something, but... I cannot."

"You could testify in my favor. They would listen to you, if to anyone. Old friend, please. He has turned the whole council against me. Even now, their hunters draw ever closer, and I doubt very many beside yourself would ever trust me." The old man absently held some rice out to the side, feeding an invisible rabbit. "Please, help me. I cannot do this alone."
