You don't have to give me either. If Tull protects them well enough, Subversion will probably give up eventually.

Beosta thought for a long time, and wrote a very good contract. 

imma just list the terms and it’s all conditional upon her retrieving the blades 

1. Livetha will be able to move ten times the speed of normal humans, to be triggered whenever she likes

2. Her hide will be impenetrable and she cannot be crushed by anything 

3. She can see perfectly in the dark 

4. Her capacity to lend or borrow energy between the two of us will be quadrupled 

5. Her metabolism will be four times as efficient

6. She will be immune to drowning, freezing, burning, and overheating

She paused, then added one more thing. 

7. She and I will be able to share emotions mentally

”There.”

Also Beosta can carry the romantic thing and woo Shoe if it doesn’t fit his character to make moves or think about it; it just might take a while for her feelings to develop.
