The stoat on her head squeaked again. She jerked her head, knocking it off balance. “Well?”

Jilu looked at Tull she didn’t trust him, especially if he was helping the man who had verbally hurt Nogard so badly.

Erif seemed somewhat taken back by the interest. "I... well, I can, it's just a little bit more effort." 

He extended his hands and focused, teleporting Jilu, Gail, Shoe, Qodi, and Tull (along with himself) to the castle in question.

Gail gasped. The castle was cool. 

Qodi hopped off of her and sniffed around for very important reasons. 
Are they in the castle?

”Watch out for arachnidishes.” Tull said this quietly, making a shushing motion.

”What are those?” Jilu asked.

”Spider owl zombies.”

She clenched her jaw. "She's the animal I should have bonded. Instead I got stuck with this lump of fur."

Gail had pressed herself against the wall, horrified, as Qodi was attacking many moving suits of armor. The armor did not like to be chomped.
