You've been Narrated to be ignored by Platypus, he literally won't respond unless he is threatened in which case he would let you hurt him, then attack, thus boosting his powers by using Vengeance.

"Yeah, Hacob could help. He's kinda independent from me now, but my Author still writes for him, similar to Kilometers Fifty-lives."

Shadow walked over, "I think I have a plan." The pale man in his dark suit, smiled confidently, "We know how Feanor killed the Brave Adventurer. So, if we merely manage to do what was done to the Adventurer to Feanor himself, could it work the same way?"

"Stabbed? I never said that. I was hit in the foot by Mordite. There's a difference," Thaidakar said smiling softly. "And, for what you're saying, Shadow... It could work, but only if we have someone powerful enough with Narration. Currently, I'm not one to talk to about that. Mordite's seen to that."

"Then who else? Unless..." Shadow thought for a moment. "There might be-" the hive mind creature was interrupted by a shaft of metal hitting him in the chest. blood and saliva gurgled in his mouth as he struggled for air. Behind him, a figure pulled out a Mordite alloy blade, strong enough to kill someone, but not exactly strong enough to totally destroy him. 

Thaidakar rushed forward, a flickering Narration blade forming his hands. The figure, covered in a black cloak though not Feanor's, laughed darkly and turned. The Narration blade slammed into the murderer's neck. As soon as it did, however, the figure turned into dust, drifting to the ground.

Shadow fell to the ground, darkness glitching around him as shadows leaked from his wound and throat. "W%7885IUGIG!" He tried to say.

"Like a lot of things, Narration isn't where I'm best. Any ideas who Shadow is talking about?" Platypus calls to Thaidakar as he runs to Shadow. He looks at his chest. "That's an ugly wound," he says, recoiling. "I'll do my best though."

He sets his hand on the wound and it closes a little bit then... If that's ok with you, it would close most of the way, though it would probably render Shadow unconscious, both from pain and energy used to repair the wound. This is one of the places where Platypus actually is best at, healing (both himself and others) and not getting killed. The stuff he said about barely surviving Mordite is entirely false, he just said that in case Feanor was watching. He can be killed, but it is very difficult.

It's fine, but Shadow won't survive... there will be some complications that I'll write into it.

After a long minute, Thaidakar's hand brushed away some of Shadow's hair, "He's not going to survive. I have done all I can." The Narrator looked fatigued as he stood. "I... I'm going to go find a bed... or maybe a nice comfy couch..."

Falvan looked down, horrified. He had just fallen from the sky and now people were randomly getting stabbed? He had no idea what was happening, and he couldn’t help but glance behind his back. Although he did like the sound of a plopsword.

"Plot Blade, not plop sword. But that's pretty common, especially from the villains. We have weirder things happen consistently.

"Great! Now, before we give you the Blade, Reasoning made us this waiver thing that you have to sign. No need to read it closely, all it really says is that you agree to the consequences of drawing the sword." Whimsy handed Arranis a piece of paper along with a pen. The waiver read:

By signing this waiver, you give up all right to sue for the following damages: Death, dismemberment, disfigurement, dislocation of limbs, dislocation of mind, permanently crippling injury, and any other bad thing(s) that will happen to you as a consequence of drawing the Plotblade of Character Development. You acknowledge that you are fully aware that of the last three people to draw this Blade, one died of guilt, the other died of jumping into a burning building to save orphans, and the final one transformed into a hideous mutated abomination with thirteen arms, one wing, four mouths, and an unspecified number of fingers/eyes.

Looking at the paper, words seem to coalesce into one blob, making it hard to read the words, though they seemed to say good things, and with a flick of the wrist, Arranis signs the paper, extremely excited to have a plotblade
