“Oh. I guess I didn’t. Thanks Drozor! ( @EmulatonStromenkiin(?))”

Everyone appeared. “Thank goodness, staring at the air where he used to be was b. O. R. I. N. G.”

Nameless shrugged. "Hey Sequence, could you help me out? I'm trying to figure out the best way to bend space to allow for different vents to connect to each other across planets, and the math's just not coming out quite right."

Samanth's voice echoed around sequence temporarily. "Drozor is dead, or at least his equivalent for any given world. We will never see him or the skeins here again. The only thing left is a crystal of pure luxite, as it was not an original part of him. I currently have it."

Nameless looked at Samanth in shock. "Wait, pure luxite? You need to get that somewhere safe, right now. That stuff is the most valuable material in existence, and if the Witherlord finds out someone has some... well, it could potentially kill him. And he doesn't like things that could potentially kill him."

Nameless was only looking at a ripple in the air, as Samanth was in [another location redacted for security], and the talking was a sophisticated recording.

Nameless sighed. "You need to get it somewhere very safe. In fact, we need to get it to the consultants. They can probably keep it safe, and they definitely know how to use it better than you."

Nameless sighed. “Well, good job.” With a snap of his fingers, he undid all the destruction caused by Render and his minions. “He was totally bluffing though. I could’ve stopped him on my own. Just didn’t want you to barge in at the wrong time and get killed.”

Moni nodded. “All right. Do you know anyone else who needs an adventure like this? I heard Gravel’s around here somewhere. Became a Narrator somehow, so he’s lost a bunch of his memories I think.”

"No Narrators," bristled 655.

"Alright, fine. Although, X is a Narrator, and you don't complain about him."

“Hm. Did you try multiplying everything by four and a half? That usually works for me.”

“Oh… well that’s sad. Rest In Peace Mr. Drozor.”

The recording continued. "I do not know who to trust, but I know that this luxite was the ordered-light energy that the Skeins held."

"Hm. Lemme try that." Nameless quickly altered the Physics Codex of his new world, then did a quick runthrough to make sure it worked well. "Great! That did the trick. Now, what kind of creatures should I put in the vents? Insects? Horrifying sludge monsters? Carnivorous beasts?"

As its location of origin was right where he was, and there was no further connection to it, this was not helpful.

Withergeists were already chewing on the containment area.

It was a good thing that Samanth had already left with the Luxite. He tried to contact the consultants.

"So how do you know you won't like Granite? He's nice, from what I hear. And he doesn't seem to be doing anything."

Samanth had time for only one word, "Luxite!"

One second later, the Knight popped into existence.

One second after that, withergeists poured through the wall.

7 minutes ago, Nameless said:

"What was that? I couldn't quite hear you."

655 sighed. "Nothing. If you really want Gravel to come, he can come... I guess."

“How about… butterflies!”

"Butterflies? Why would butterflies live in vents? What would they even eat?"

"But the vegetation's all highly poisonous. I guess I could make the butterflies eat the souls of living things, which would allow them to safely eat the mushrooms."

"So, do you think I should put anything else in the vents, or just a bunch of soul-eating butterflies?"
