Thaidakar appeared, grabbed all of them and teleported away.

Wizard using the powers of the universe hijacked their teleport and teleported them into the cave.

Thaidakar cursed then teleported to Wizard and kicked him in the shins, then back to the cave to collect the crew and teleport to a safe location noone could teleport to or tamper with teleports.
