Thankfully, Sandpaper decided that he would look after the afterglow briar, so that it wouldn't need to move around. From that day forth, Sandpaper took the afterglow briar on a number of adventures. The two became best friends, and lived happily every after.

Moni grabbed the fabrial and pressed it to the Wanderer's chest, activating it in a flash of stormlight.

Slowly the wound in the Wanderer's chest healed.

Moni let out a sigh of relief. "Did you know that would work?"

Broken l1nes, the survey responded.

"I... have no idea what that means. Are you all right?" Moni looked at the Wanderer. "She should wake up soon."

The Wanderer's breathing steadied.

She opened her eyes.

"Ow," she said.

"Ah! You're awake. That's a good sign. How do you feel?"

"Cold," the Wanderer said.

Meanwhile, the Withergeists around them had frozen in place.

"Oh right. The withergeists." Moni glanced around. "Who froze them? And where did Nameless go?"

"It is time," the Witherlord declared.

[NameIess]

Moni gulped. "Wonderful. Um, I don't know where Nameless is. Maybe we could wait a bit?"

The afterglow briar dug itself into the ground nearby. The thorns on the vines began to grow to odd sizes, some as small as the point of a pin, and one big enough to pass for a sword. Several lanterns grew off the vines as well.

The Witherlord appeared where Nameless was, blade in hand, mist swirling around.

[NameIess]

Nameless sighed. "Has it been an hour already? I could've sworn its been about 20 minutes."

The Skiens contacted the Knight. @xinoehp512

Nameless stood up painfully. "Well, if it has been an hour, I'm as ready to fight you as I'll ever be." He summoned his Narrationblade to his left hand.
