Moni did not, in fact, want to play Vin. Nameless had been thinking of using Vin to play Vin.

Nameless pulled out his arcane ritual chalk. "Anyone want to help me start the summoning ritual?"

Thaidakar raised his hand, "sure! except for the fact that to bring vin back we would also have to bring back Elend."

Nameless snorted dismissively. "Why would we have to do that?"

Thaidakar sighed, "Kelsier would know more than I do about this, shall I call him in?"

Nameless rolled his eyes. "Is this some kind of moral thing?"

"You know, like it would be cruel to summon one but not the other?"

Nameless looked up at Thaidakar. "Have you seen your budget?"

Thaidakar shrugged, "I can literally create things out of nothing, I have an unlimited budget."

Nameless sighed. "Well, yeah, but you still have to pay taxes on the stuff you make. Anyways, this ritual is really expensive. We don't have the budget to do two. At least not if we want to pay the scriptwriters."

"You made those out of thin air. They're worthless."

Thaidakar laughed, "and you don't think the cosmere wasn't?" Thaidakar wiped the tears out of his eyes, "the cosmere was made out of matter, intent and investiture. but it is pretty much the same thing if you think about it. I am using my intent and investiture to make the money. the money is fully authenticated across the cosmere, I mean it is made by me, I am god so I am authenticating it. besides it is really weird for people to contradict the god they practically worship."

"Exactly. Cosmere money is worthless."
