And so Lift went a-questing towards Fan-Fiction Land, quite unaware that she herself was in one now.

It was a strange experience.

For example, she was adopted by Kelsier and Jasnah.

... or, was she? it was as if there was a conflict about her past.

Luckily she hadn't strayed into the Land of Crossovers...

In TLT, she had been, and that was what mattered.

And it was relevant!

There was also siblings with... plot relevance.

Because the Ghanderflaffle empire had a bounty out for Lift. And Jasnah. and Kelsier. And every Sanderson character but Kaladin and The Lopen.

Just because.

And so, unbeknownst to Lift, a Ghanderflaffle was hunting her down. His name was the Finder.

Luckily the Philanderflaffles had sent someone to protect her

His name was the Hider.

But the Hider came down with the Flu and decided to go home for a month or two.

Then got eaten by a grue.

So the Philandeflaffles sent the Dude to protect her.

But the Dude was terrible at hiding people, and got killed by the Finder instead.

He was the dudest dude to ever dude.

And the dudest dude to ever die.
