[OB] Full Oathbringer book discussion opens November 14th

There have been reports of people obtaining copies of Oathbringer at various bookstores. That's great if you got one; we hope you enjoy it.

However, I'd just like to remind everyone that you'll need to not post full book spoilers until it is released November 14th. 

We will be actively removing stuff beyond Part One from the Tor.com samples, and the released interludes. 

It's very important we are all on the same page and no one is spoiled for things prior to release.

Are we doing multiple sub-boards (or at least threads) for spoiling only select parts of the book? Like, spoilers up through the end of part 3, for example?

Definitely not. That will only matter up through the first week. Three months from now maintaining that is not practical. It was difficult enough having two boards with Bands of Mourning and Secret History. No one put things in the right spots.

We will have separate squeeing topics per part (for parts two, three, and four, and a whole book reactions topic) if you want to react to it, but I think multiple forums is overkill. We will link these topics from the forum main page if you don't want to click this forum and be spoiled by topic titles. 

I think this is a pretty good compromise.

The tricky thing of shipping threads is they are seldom neat and solid, but they can start from harmless or interesting things. So...could you nuke the part of threads that are taken over by shipping?

I admit I may have written in those threads once upon a time  but now...peace please!

And for the record, my shippy friends, I do love you and the diversity of loves for these glorious books is what makes this place so good for so many. I mean, some people haven't spent hundreds of hours this year reading WoBs. Baffling

It took years to get where we are today. Shallarin used to be the favorite. It still gives more google matches than any other.
