I'm so invested in all of Brandon Sandersons book all i do is recommend them to my friends/family. My parents probably know the entire plot to stormlight archive/mistborn/the reckoners and ive managed to make 2 of my friends read the way of kings, and many more of them have agreed to read his 'short' stories. I'm just wondering if anyone else is like this? I havent been able to make myself like any fantasy books, and since Brandon Sanderson was the first adult writer i read ive ditched ya fiction too. I even tried reading the name of the wind but never managed to finish it, not because it was badbad but the fact that it takes the author ages to write one book puts me off :(

I got my honorary big sister and my (real) favourite aunt to get sanderson, and they both loved it. Unfortunately, they are not good enough to read it in english. Whenever I enter into a librry I llook if there is some translated sanderbook (did anyone ever used that word? I call dibs on it) for them. I also got one of my honorary cousins (son of my honorary big sister; I tend to give the title of honorary relative to my best friends:P) to read sanderson in english; his english is excellent, and I've seen him make casual conversation with foreigners, but reading in english tires him. I lended him shadows of self seven months ago, he still has 100 pages to go. Still, I hope to get him used to it.

I have a friend who read Stormlight Archive and didn't adore it. I have never been so confused in my life. I managed to make 1 other friend read 1 book of mistborn and another said she'd pick up Stormlight but I think the size of the book scared her. One friend got into mistborn half from my help and likes it, yay! But yeah I've since warned my friends not to bring up Sanderson/book suggestions because my eyes immediately light up and I'll relentlessly suggest the Cosmere to them. I get way too passionate about it lol.

My brother introduced me to Steelheart and I in turn got two older sisters and my friend and my Mom into Stormlight. As well as another friend who decided to read it after hearing us rant about it all evening.

This is literally me. I only read Brandon Sanderson (as of 2 months ago; I've now read the entire cosmere) and I recommend his books to everyone at every opportunity.

Same. Any time anyone asks for book suggestions now, I immideaitely bring up Sanderson. I got my little brother to read both eras of Mistborn and SotD, but I can't get him to read anything else sadly. I also got another one of my friends to read the first era of Mistborn.
