+Oltux72 he/him Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Threnody does make a lot of sense. They may still have no stable perpendicularity. As Aviars turned up for sure on Roshar and rumored on Scadrial as early as Era 2, their novelty value is also lower on those worlds. And, while Patji is dangerous, a team of for example Windrunners in plate should make it at least to the training island. Ideally they'd be joined by a Smoker. I just cannot see how after thousands of years nobody has started to trade through the CR with all worlds with a perpendicularity.
Honorless he/him Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Yes but matching the Arcanum entries with the 'Ones Above' and the release dates, it doesn't quite fit with what Brandon said
Eternal Khol he/him Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 It could be anybody. Brandon said that once interplanetary travel is easier, the magics will start to blend. So it could be Rosharans with Scadrial Tech It could be Scadrians with Rosharan tech. It could be literally anyone

It could be literally anyone Well, not literally anyone Brandon has said we'd seen the Ones Above before and they're from a Shardworld we'd seen That being said, Mistborn: Secret History released the same year as Arcanum Unbounded but near the beginning of the year rather than the end. We met Khriss there, as well as Nazh... Can Threnody, or even better Taldain, still be considered valid candidates after all? People have argued that they can. But Sixth of the Dusk was published before being released as part of the Arcanum Unbounded collection. The WoBs too come from before the Arcanum Unbounded was published Edited January 25, 2020 by Honorless
