I'd be cool meeting for coffee (well, hot chocolate in my case. Never much been one for coffee ;)) beforehand. Dinner might be a bit awkward to arrange, whereas with coffee we could just name a place and approximate time and call it a day.

I was really looking forward to going to this, but an invading force of bacteria causing a pneumonia had other plans for me...

Ooh, what superpower did you get?

Silence of divine reference.

The bookstore has a cafe, so let's just plan on meeting there--that seems like the most convenient option. I'll be arriving as early as 3 or 4 and should be in that general vicinity most of the afternoon.

edit, I'll be the girl with kinda blue-ish hair wearing a "Roshar is Gorges" tshirt

FYI, I posted a new thread for the actual reports so that it's a bit easier to navigate and the tagging is comprehensive.

I'll hopefully be there a few hours before the signing tomorrow, so see at least a few of you there. :)

I plan to be there at or around 3 PM, and I'd be happy to meet with you guys ahead of time in the cafe.  :-)  I'll be the big darkeyes with glasses, a moustache, blue jeans and a dark grey shirt.

I'll answer to "Jim" or "NutiketAiel."  Bonus points if you pronounce it correctly.  ;-)

Hey guys, the person that previously volunteered to be the tour archivist for the scrapbook has had a medical issue.  Anyone willing to print some cards and bring them to the signing?

Oh no! Unfortunately, we're on the road already, so I can't print anything, but if someone else can do that I can help with handing them out.

Edit-there is a Staples very close to the bookstore and their website has a way to upload documents to be printed; if you can make the arrangements for the cards to be printed at the correct store, I could pick them up there (and pay for the printing). I don't know if they do it on such short notice though.

Wow, I wasn't even planning on going to this signing (I thought it was actually in philadelphia) but then it turns out to be all of 5 minutes from my house! Now to actually get a hardcopy of the book to get signed! :)

Great venue, very nice and helpful staff at the store... but we are expecting 200+people, and there's no way we'll all fit. They're clearing off the tops of bookshelves to make more sitting room. Everyone's going to need to get real chummy. ;-)
