Yolen lightweaving would do it as it effectively creates independent illusions that have sentience (or a level of it I guess). I don't necessarily think that's what's going on, but if Hoid did want to have decoys  (and assuming he can still use  full Yolen lightweaving) that could probably work without the need for an actual stooge.

Love this idea! Now I will always think of Hoid as being a kandra.

 I mean, kandra were created at the Lord Ruler's ascension, and Hoid was alive before the shattering... Don't think that could work

But Hoid's abilities are likely very similar to those of a kandra, in that he is very hard to kill and really good at disguising himself... I suspect that Hoid is much harder to kill than even a kandra though, because I think a shardblade would kill a kandra easily, and Hoid wasn't particularly impressed by being threatened by one.

Guys, I dont think it would be a good idea to break any walls.. Especially the 4th wall! All sorts of crazy could happen. Next thing you know you've got a bottle of perfume in your coat and your stalking homeless people asking if they know anything about Uncle Andy..
