Sunbird she/her Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 I've been exploring the new Leaderboard feature, and after looking at the Top Members section, I've determined that Brandon has the highest upvote-to-post ratio of anyone on the site. Although his rep count puts him in 8th place in terms of straight quantity with 5237 upvotes, he's only made 332 posts, which means each of his posts has garnered, on average, about 15.77 upvotes. Other people with high upvote-to-post ratios include Slater with 5.69 upvotes per post, Peter Ahlstrom with 5.39 upvotes per post, and Sheep with 5.09 upvotes per post. Currently my posts average 0.69 upvotes each. XD

Sunbird she/her Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 @A Budgieone way to access it is from the profile of anyone who's ever "won the day": you click that little banner and it'll take you to the rankings from that day, and from there you can go to "top users" which shows people's counts for upvotes and posts.

In all seriousness, though, I believe she wants to be an illustrator/author someday. So you may very well be right about that.

Delightful Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 DA, man are you talented. I have come to the conclusion that my roommate enjoys being a total grump, and I just happen to be a convenient target. So imma wrap myself in snuggles and not let her bother me.
A Budgie she/her Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 @Darkness Ascendant the photos are really good. The comic was...kinda weird, I will admit, but still pretty cool.

Aww thanks I just wish I had more chances to grow that talent >> I feel stunted. Snuggles is good. Roommate is bad. 1 hour ago, A Budgie said: @Darkness Ascendant the photos are really good. The comic was...kinda weird, I will admit, but still pretty cool. Thank you dear! As for the comic. I have no words, I didn't understand what I had drawn. So I tried analysing it sort of before I went to training. but then I realised that each side runs independently the left side goes down to tell the story the right side goes down to tell the other story first frame is a child king, crown too big for his head, and there are people bowing towards him And the second one, is the same child, but irl, and it's playing with figurines Left side second one is someone getting decapitated while the childking laughs, being carried by a woman, her back hunched Right side second one is the mother cradling the child, trying to do other things while taking care of her child. The child is ripping the head off a figurine Left side third one is the stewards/butlers serving the childking with his meal, but the childking is crying out in anger, for he doesn't want to eat. Right side third one is the father attempting to feed the child as he cries and wails Left side last one is the kingdom revolting against the childking Right side last one is the parents putting the child up for adoption Symbolically, I think it has a deep meaning *shudders

Oversleep Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) 14 hours ago, TwiLyghtSansSparkles said: What are you researching? 13 hours ago, Sunbird said: Yes, @Oversleep, do tell. Vampires. I decided to do some serious worldbuilding for my Soulsmiths and since I aspire to play with the tropes (y'know, characters are genre savvy, they keep a list of the tropes that they played out, for example they keep track of instances of jumping out of the windows, things like that) I had to do some research. I already had defined what my vampires would be and how would they work (my worldbuidling isn't much but this thing I'm proud of) but I needed to know what are usual traits and classical traits of vampires so I could incorporate, discuss or deny them. For example, the sunlight burning vampires is quite a new idea. And TVTropes being TVTropes I found something that sparked some neat idea that fits with my magic, so that's nice.
