I'm almost tempted to have Neverthere stay alive two so the three of them can meet up in a different country and all be suspicious of each other but I doubt NT would have survived long with Nighthound knowing her physical location.

We need Backtrack back right?  He’s so fun!

It might be cool if we set up some sort of mystery and put Backtrack in the middle of it with his power to obtain information.

Edit: Oh wait.  Backtrack was Kobold’s wasn’t he.

To be fair, he's kind of dead now, so it's perfectly possible she managed to escape before anyone could come around to her position.

She was fun, for as much if a monster she was. And for what it's worth, as long as she didn’t try any double crossing, her survival chances were probably the best out of any of the girls.

Definitely deserves it.

I’m sure she probably did. Red probably won’t want to stick with her that much but it’ll be interesting to see who she ends up hanging with/stalking.

Yeah, she probably makes the second place on hee do not want list after Nighthound himself.

Oh yeah, we'll need new strong slontzes. Most people on the carry over list seem either not that bad or not that strong. How would she react to Nighthound's killer?

He's Kobold’s yeah. Actually did anyone tag him yet to see if he's interested yet?

Did C4 survive?

Nighthound didn’t kill her at least. Might decide that she’s tagging along with Ray and Voidgaze. Let's hope for her sake that Neverthere didn’t get her hands on her again.

So where is it taking place? Canada or Europe? Because as a person living in the UK things could shape up to be interesting over here...

Alternatively, we could have a rehash of the Wastelands where each person controls a country in Europe. Could also extend to the Middle East and Asia?

Thoughts?

Slightly leaning towards Canada, I think.

Eh, I'd vote against that. Too much for each player too handle with relatively little room for contact with other players.

Canada really isn’t as well-known as the US, in my opinion.

Personally, I’d prefer Europe, but that’s probably just bias :P

Fair enough. We should probably hold a vote or something.

Thanks. That's about as nice as a picture of someone beat bloody can be. (Seriously, it’s a nice drawing, I like it. :) )

Create a separate poll maybe?

Just poking my nose in the door. Canada sounds good to me, though I'm fine with just about anywhere. School's almost out (2 more days!) so I could work on a new character soon. Thunderspear was neat, but I can do better.

Other than that, please just let me know what I can do to help!

I think my primary preference for Canada over Europe is its geographical proximity to Oregon.  It might stretch plausibility to get a bunch of Oregon characters to the same place in Europe.

I really don’t think lack a familiarity will be as much an issue as you might think.  Most of us knew nothing about Oregon and we made it work.  Especially if we start with one city a quick Wikipedia read supplemented by a player whose been there should be enough.

Was thinking about this too.

I’m not sure, really. A teleporting megalomaniac Epic is kind of stretching things.

I am playing around with a character concept that certainly qualifies as a slontze. Although whether it is moral event horizon levels of slontzedom is a matter of interpretation.

As a citizen of both, I'd say things could shape up to be interesting in all of the above locations :)

Canadian-Belgian citizen here, so both is cool with me too. But if we do Europe turf wars, dibs on Flanders.

Yeah, she prefers people who’ve waltzed over the moral event horizon singing about the puppies they’d horrifyingly slaughtered for the lulz. Relative morality? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

I would not say relative morality was quite what I was getting at

Also Canada or Europe probably depends on how many characters are migrating from the old RP

Why do you assume I would have to be getting at relative morality? *raises eyebrows*

EDIT: OH and one of my friends from my tumblr (raven-dreaming) is reading mistborn probably because of what i've posted about it and i'm super hyped

Nice work-now get him/her to that alley where we spike newbies

EDIT: If it’s alright with everyone I’ll put up a poll for Canada Vs EU Vs other locations

Well you said they werent' completely evil if you looked at it in a certain way so what were you meaning?

Why should this mean I am getting at relative morality? Two people can share the same moral beliefs, and still have differing interpretations on somebody’s motives, or even on the results, because humans tend towards not being omniscient.

I don't know, just tell me what you meant?

I kind of did: There are probably a few plausible interpretations for their true motives.

I’m... Not sure why you wanted to read so much into my use of the word “interpretation” to be honest.

So how is that not relative morality?

What exactly do you call relative morality?

More importantly, if you want to pursue a big philosphical discussion on the meaning lf good and evil, it may be better to shoot me a PM so this thread doesn’t get epically derailed.

On another note, the poll for Location is up!

EDIT: I think I have anothee epic I want to use all thought up.

Name: Lukas McKnight

Epic Name: Knox, as in Fort Knox

Primary Ability: Basically building in fortnite. He can create matter with absurd structural integrity in any shape comprised of a single plane, I.e a ramp/ wall. No prof-esque bubble traps, and nothing smaller than 25 square feet, give or take. Used mostly for cool bases and cover in combat, as well as trapping the odd civilian before tossing in a grenade.

Secondary Ability: Enhanced everything. Just all around superhuman—more speed, more strength, more agility, tougher, more endurance, faster reflexes, etc. Nothing more than say an Olympic athlete, but still plenty impressive.

tertiary ability: Phasing. Knox can phase through his own walls when he wants.

Background: growing up, Lukas spent most of his time with a few friends doing dares, playing sports, getting in fights, and generally trying to push the limits of what he could do. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces at age 19 at the urging of his father to try to instill a little self-preservation, but instead Lukas became even more of a risk taker, often being given the worst duties as punishment for all the things he did.

After becoming an epic, he began challenging others to duels in an attempt to prove himself or die trying. This has led him to (insert Canadian/European city here) to try to finally find his match.

Allied with Silhouette due to some handwavium.

If you guys don't mind, I would like to slide into this reboot.

Just a quick thing on location, I could go either way. I think that locating it on Europe could provide some interesting dynamics in terms of nationalism/history that america didn't have just because of its size and relatively recent formation. On the other hand, going to Canada would be cool, and convenient for certain people. I would have to make a new epic either way, so I don't really care.

Personally, I feel like Europe would end up more like the wastelands, with a territory war, while Canada would end up more city-based. Both sound intriguing!
