Studier of Keteks he/him
What do you think the purpose of Gavilar's last words were? And what was the stone that he gave to Szeth to give to Dalinar? Anyone got any ideas? Especially about the stone.
CrazyRioter she/her
Brandon will only say that the dark-glowing sphere is a "major big RAFO." Which means it's important. Edited May 29, 2011 by CrazyRioter
Chachel she/her
What do you think the purpose of Gavilar's last words were? And what was the stone that he gave to Szeth to give to Dalinar? Anyone got any ideas? Especially about the stone. Dalinar deduces that Gavilar's last words are a quote from "The Way of Kings". It is never explained what the "most important words a man can say" are. Dalinar's quest to find out what the words are encourages his obsession with the book and following its teachings. Silus - Shard of Flame he/him
That part of the prologue definitely rings of major foreshadowing, as in multiple books out foreshadowing. I expect hints in each book, but I doubt anything concrete for a while. It's really the topic that's hardest to theorize on because that we basically have no context for it. Zayde he/him
My guess would be the stone is a Dawnshard or a piece of a Dawnshard. But that's just wild speculation on my part.
Studier of Keteks he/him
Yeah. EVERYTHING is wild speculation at this point. I wonder what the most important words a man can say are? How many books do you reckon it will be before we find out?
Zayde he/him
If we find out in the next book, I would be very surprised.
FellKnight he/him
Yeah. EVERYTHING is wild speculation at this point. I wonder what the most important words a man can say are? How many books do you reckon it will be before we find out? The only thing that seems to make sense at this point in time are the Ideals of Honor, in that they make the person saying them all magical and powerful and stuff Hard to say if that is what is meant, though. Green Hoodie Mistborn he/him
The only thing that seems to make sense at this point in time are the Ideals of Honor, in that they make the person saying them all magical and powerful and stuff That was my exact thought when I finished Way of Kings... the most important words a man can say are the Oaths to become a Knight Radiant so that men are defended once more
