Mailliw73
Storm it! (Whoops, wrong planet.) Survivor's scars! I wasn't able to get on today and vote. It looks like it wouldn't have done much anyways but I still regret not voting. I agree with Kukri, Peng. Send it to three people you trust at least somewhat. 'Maxill had found a bottle of the strong stuff that rolled under a table he had been hiding under and drank it. He passed out for much of the day and woke only as the sun was setting and everyone had decided to kill the doctor. "Well, he didn't do much anyways," Maxill said as he decided to go back to sleep the massive headache away.

I used to suspect Gamon. Less so now, but still a tad over the rest. And stop whining about the booze!" As the shadows grows longer, dyring goes out and the effects of his earlier hammering is seen. A big planked shield, tall enough that it is only just possible to get in through the door, and covering a good portion of the wall, he, under much grumbling and swearing, positions it infront of the section of the wall that have continuously been desecrated by the messages. Herowannabe
The events of the second day have truly, and deeply, humbled this simple servant. My vote shall continue to be cast along with that of Lord Peng, I think. Gamma Fiend
It's night time. No voting happening now.And we really shouldn't voice suspicions and stuff at night, I think. It only gives the Inquisitors potential fodder to play off of it and give them more info and insight on what to do for the night. (I know they did stuff like that last game)Let's just hang tight, chill, have some drinks, and not go wandering out alone into the mists, m'kay? princess
If this were a real life situation I would simply say that everyone stay in the same room, and if someone wants to go to the bathroom they go in groups of three (preferabily as assigned by our esteemed Mistborn). As it is... As soon as they returned from Digit's home, Cessies sank into a chair. She couldn't stop hearing the quiet "No" that Peng had said, as he killed the poor man. As the mists gathered outside, she dropped her head into her hands. What may have been a few minutes or a few hours later she heard the name of her Terrisman coming up. Looking over, she saw a group of people discussing who they suspected. She wanted to object -- after all, he had been with her home for as long as she could remember -- but she feared that doing so would draw more attention to herself, and at this point it seemed as though anyone who stood out would be killed. "Besides," she thought, dropping her head back into her hands, "How well do I really know the man? I've ignored him most of my life. He was just another of the servants, carrying out Mama or Pappa's orders."
Aonar
Let's just hang tight, chill, have some drinks, and not go wandering out alone into the mists, m'kay? "I'll second that. Another round of... well... whatever drinks we happen to have left, for everybody!" Dyring must have been stocking up for a while; the way some people have been drinking, I would have thought that we should have run out before the end of last night. It feels weird being near the top of several people's "to kill' list. Especially when I tried to save one of them. I don't think that anyone should be voicing suspicions right now though, particularly you, Peng. Edited February 5, 2014 by AonarFaileas

And now, without any further ado, I present The Official Documentation of Day 2 Votes (As It Pertains to The Chandrian….*ahem* I mean, the Accused 7) Part 1: The Day 2 Chronicle of Voting, Including the Order of Votes and Information Regarding Deadlocks Peng started it off with a vote for Wes Aspren refused to vote for anyone. Aspren retracted vote refusal; voted for Shimble Eddy voted for Shimble Vron retracted vote for Quillion; voted for Shimble Wilson retracted vote for Quillion; voted for Shimble Maxill retracted vote for Quillion; voted for Shimble (deadlock between Wes and Shimble – 7 votes each) Aether added himself to the votes for Shimble but didn’t retract previous vote or formally colorize vote to make official. Didn’t count Ridge voted for Wes (broke deadlock) END OF VOTING PERIOD Wes retracted vote for Quillion; voted for no one. Didn’t count Cessie retracted vote for no one; voted for Shimble. Didn’t count Part 2: The Suspicions, Reasonings, and Regrets of the Shimble-Accusers (aka The 7) There is a fault with this title, as it does not pertain to just 7 individuals. As per the orders of the commissioner (one, Mr Dyring Ridge), I am listing everything in regards to all of those who cast a vote for Shimble (including those that weren’t counted). The Accused Stand Here: Hero Aonar Aspren Eddy Vron Wilson Maxill Aether Cessie Hero began the discussion with an impassioned request of our Lord Mistborn: "Lord Peng, might I ask why you suspect Master Wes? We know that we can trust you, and therefore, it would be beneficial if we knew your reasoning, I think. As for myself, my suspicions lean towards Kukri or Shimble Liece. Both of them, while vocally going along with the group, have seemed, to me, to also be trying to sow the seeds of distrust, as well as create circumstances that the inquisitor can capitalize on. My apologies to whichever one of them, or both of them, that I am mistaken about." As you can see, Hero suspects Shimble and Kukri. He does not vote at this time. Eddy was drunk. But he wanted the Lord Mistborn to give his “grand resoning” [sic] for accusing Wes. Aspren declined to vocalize suspicions, but said he would prefer not to have someone killed. He voted for no one. Alvron said that “No one has any real proof of anything,” and proceeds to vote for Quillion in the hopes that since Quillion is not the actual player, Lord Ollivier, that no one will die. Cessie gave an impassioned speech as well: “My good gental folk,” she said, striding to the center of the room to make sure she had everyone's attention. She made sure to stand with the posture her mother had drilled into her, doing everything she had been taught to project an air of confidence. People naturally responded to those who were noble. “I see that there is a split in the opinions of our great crew, and I think the best way to assure that our esteemed leader is able to make a decision is to have all of the arguments already available to review when he returns. “Lord Listmaster,” she said turning to look at Aether. “Would you be so kind as to create a list of the complaints lobbied against each person. If each of you will present your reasons for why you think they should be the one sacrified for the greater good, we will get a good list put together to help make things easier.” Wilson stated that the Lord Mistborn is likely who he says he is, but she would not blindly follow him in his votes, particularly when she thought Wes was being targeted for his lack of Allomancy. She voted for no one. Maxill voted for Quillion even though he would prefer to vote for no one. He wanted a deadlock, but admitted that interference by an emotional allomancer could mess that up. He asked Wilson to follow his example. He also asked Aether for another list and wanted to know if a vote for Quillion actually counted. (To which, Meta responded that it counts toward Lord Ollivier) Aonar wanted the Lord Mistborn’s reasoning for choosing Wes, and said he doesn’t want to kill anyone if he doesn’t have to. He voted for Quillion to get the deadlock and hoped that an emotional Allomancer wouldn’t interfere. Wilson realized the truth or Maxill’s words, retracted her vote for no one, and voted for Quillion. She also requested a list from Aether. Upon posting, she realized she’d been ninja’d by Aonar and retracted her vote, bringing the deadlock back. Hero withheld his vote, wishing for the Lord Mistborn to appear and assuage all the requests for explanation. Alvron stated that he’s not voting with the Lord Mistborn because there’s nothing to go on, quoting the Lord Mistborn’s explanation that Wes was his best guess. He would like proof that killing Wes is a good idea. He also apologized to Quiver for casting the first vote on Lord Ollivier’s proxy, Quillion. He declined to list suspicions because he doesn’t believe in mob rule. He wanted everyone to make up their own mind. Aonar changed his vote to no one to keep the deadlock between Wes and Quillion in place. Hero supported the idea of following the Lord Mistborn’s opinions, but could not rightly follow him when “by his own lips,” the Lord Mistborn “admitted that he does not have any good reason for his judgment.” He then went on to say others had acted suspiciously and had been called out on that suspicious behavior, but he didn’t list any names. However, he said we shouldn’t ignore those observations. He officially withheld his vote and hoped that the Lord Mistborn would reconsider his vote for Wes. Because Hero disliked that the Lord Mistborn disappeared shortly after casting his vote, he requested an extra 12 hours onto the day, extending the time to vote in hopes that the Lord Mistborn would return and “give us better reasoning” or possibly “be swayed by reasoning of the group.” He didn’t wish for the Lord Mistborn to disclose any information better kept private—he simply wanted to know if he had good reasoning, and if so, Hero would “happily vote along with him.” Hero pointed out that two people, independently, have voiced suspicion for Shimble Leice. Wilson created The Master List to help everyone see the progress thus far. SHIMBLE stated that killing him would not be a good idea for our side. Hero found it “noteworthy that multiple people have voiced suspicions of Shimble,” and admitted that he’d suspected him too. He retracted his vote for no one and officially voted for Shimble. He also said that because Shimble just admitted to having an important, he’s all but made it certain the Inquisitor would target him that night if he didn’t die today. (Wilson’s note: I think Hero thought the Inquisitor could only convert with a Spike he had killed someone with, so if we killed a Misting during the day, the Inquisitor couldn’t use that power in a conversion.) Cessie voted not to kill anyone. She stated that by killing people, we make it more likely the Inquisitor will hit a Misting at night, but if we leave people alive, the Inquisitor will be less likely to hit a Misting in a random attack. Aonar was persuaded by Hero and voted for Shimble, who is definitely the “most suspicious.” He didn’t think the deadlock would hold, once the emotional Allomancers appeared, but he wanted to at least vote for someone who had “actually done something suspicious.” Aether created an additional fine list of the votes, complementing Wilson’s list. He disagreed with the idea of a deadlock and didn’t want to help create one, but at the same time, he didn’t want to vote for Wes, so he decided to vote for no one. Aspren retracted his previous vote and voted for Shimble, stating that he would much rather vote for no one. He also stated that if sufficient reason to change his vote came along, he would cave to that reasoning. Hero noted that the Lord Mistborn still had not appeared, despite the additional timeframe. Eddy appeared, still drunk, and said a lot of gibberish, but ultimately caved to the alcohol because he hadn’t heard the Lord Mistborn’s reasonings. He voted for Shimble. Vron changed his vote to Shimble because the Lord Mistborn still had not explained the choice to kill Wes. He hoped by voting this way, it would create a deadlock, but acknowledged the difficulty that emotional allomancers will have on that possibility. Wilson hoped that the Lord Mistborn would reappear before the end of the day, to give the crew direction. Because she didn’t actually think Quillion was bad, nor did she think Wes was, she was left with Shimble, who she agreed had been acting suspiciously. She wasn’t sure the suspicious behavior was enough to lynch him, but it was better than what she had on Ollivier. She expressed a desire to deadlock the vote but knew that was unlikely as there would be at least one emotional allomancer. She voted for Shimble because, if someone has to die, it’s better for that to be the suspicious one than the innocent one. After voting, she hoped that the Lord Mistborn would return, particularly if Shimble actually did have a role they didn’t want to kill. She wished for time to adjust the votes in that event. Maxill retracted his vote for Quillion and voted for Shimble. This vote created a deadlock. Aether updated his list, including himself in the votes for Shimble, but didn’t retract his previous vote for no one, nor did he cast an official vote for Shimble. Vron tried to tell Aether that his vote wouldn’t count. Wilson noted that there are probably multiple emotional allomancers involved in the vote, and because of this, there’s still a remote chance a tie could happen. Unlikely, but possible. VOTING ENDED Cessie took too long catching up on everything so her vote for Shimble didn’t make the deadline. Wilson noted that with a the vote standing at Wes-8, Shimble-7, the result really came down to the emotional allomancers, and hopefully it would end in a deadlock. META POSTED THE WRITE-UP Wilson expressed regret at Shimble’s role and wished the Lord Mistborn had’ve been around to say something. Aonar also expressed regret and said that it should’ve resulted in a deadlock. He was surprised that two votes for Wes were Soothed, since that would require two Soothers being convinced Shimble was the Inquisitor. Aspren admitted that Shimble told him his role, but that he wasn’t able to change his vote in time. The outcome was “unfortunate.” Eddy cursed his liquor for betraying him and leading him into the attack on Shimble. Aonar realized the irony in posting that the only way to help the Inquisitor more would be to kill a Coinshot or a Seeker and then helping to kill a Coinshot. Hero did a bit of role-play: Herwynbe staggered back, head reeling from all the debates, as well as the realization of what his one little vote had started. Several accusatory glares turned his way. “Uh… oops?” He wished that Shimble hadn’t killed Ffnord, because he liked Ffnord’s hidden messages. (Wilson’s note: I did too. Ffnord is sorely missed.) Cessie had no desire to kill an innocent man but had truly believed Shimble wasn’t innocent. She was horrified at her actions: “What have I done?” she asked, covering her mouth in horror. She wished Shimble had’ve said something more than the little bit he had, or that the Lord Mistborn has stopped the senseless slaughter. Aspren wished once again that the Lord Mistborn had told us his reasoning for targeting Wes. Then we all could’ve tried to “avoid killing anyone.” He wasn’t trying to kill Shimble, but he was trying to prevent a random killing. He stated that Shimble’s blood is pretty much on everyone’s hands—or at least those who voted for either Wes or Shimble. Maxill reminded other crew members that most of the crew behind the Shimble-vote hadn’t voted for Shimble intitally. They were simply looking to force a deadlock, since the Lord Mistborn’s followers sought blood so ferociously. He would’ve preferred not voting at all. Wilson agreed with Maxill. All she was looking for was a deadlock to prevent more death. Aonar defended himself by saying that if he were the Inquisitor, he would’ve “refused to vote,” but broken the deadlock towards the one “more likely to be a misting” with Soothing. That way, he would kill someone important and deflect suspicion. He stated that we should’ve pushed the Quillion/Wes deadlock more, rather than flip to Shimble/Wes. He didn’t feel comfortable going after random people, regardless of how important they are or not. He feels the Lord Mistborn should not be targeting the unimportant ones because regular crew members could be Unsnapped. Aether apologized for his mistake with the vote. He was….distracted…from the game. ----- I believe that is everything. Let me know if I missed anything. EDIT: simple formatting/grammar typos. EDIT: to fix Aonar's gender pronouns. Mailliw73
Definitely the best list I've seen. (sorry, Aether) Upvote for you. Even if it is a list about suspicion on me. I find it interesting that immediately after Peng says that he suspects Eddy, Wes, and Ridge, Ridge and Wes decide to make their own suspicion lists. (I know it's not always easy to tell over a forum, but it's a little odd reading stuff about myself that's using the wrong gender pronoun. ) Ah. Well. I shall fix that. Sorry. Normally I default to "he" even though I'm female. I can't even remember how I thought you were as well. Huh. And I know exactly what you mean about wrong gender pronouns. I get it all the time. EDIT to keep from double posting Excellent list! Now we, as the readers, just need to decide, as Aether would say -- "what kind of particular truth your list is telling." I know I said I'd practice that, but....this one was a little on the lengthy side for me to really put it my all. So I kind of just told it how it was. Honesty and all that. Figured it was best, especially since I'm one of the accused.
