And Daredevil is a attorney now and has a sidekick who is an immigrant and has a much cooler costume now.

I kind of hate Daredevils sidekick.

Mostly because I remember early speculation that the shadowed bo staff wielding dude was Gambit, and seeing Daredevil paired up with him wold have been hilarious.

But I know nothing about not!Gambit, beyind him not beibg Gambit, so...

True, the good thing about everything having no inherent meaning is that you can just give the things you care about meaning yourself.

(Also Miles Morales is now 616, Peter Parker is Tony Stark and Wolverine is a girl, and she is awesome.)

The real weird part about Miles being in 616 is that the Spider-Verse is just about the only part of the Marvelmultiverse that's still relevant, so the only real reason for him being there is Bendis either wanting an even bigger excuse for retcones or just wanting to push him into the main stream.

Also, while still on topic, tell them about All-New, All-Different Ultron:ph34r:

Hey, Quiv, do you like Walking Dead comics?

Don't ask questions! I mean, Bendis only had exclusive use of Havok for months before Secret Wars, you expect him to wrap up every plot point?

(Or...any plot points. Wrapping up any plots would also have been good.)

Honestly, no idea. Janet also had a daughter with Havok who has been abducted by Kang the Conqueror, but that hasn't been mentioned since either.

See,Marvel's last event, Secret War, kind of...broke everything. Literally, the entite multiverse died. ReedRichards of the Fantastic Four fixed it, then Marvel jumped ahead 8 months in universe. So, presumably, during that 8 month gap, stuff happened and DON'T ASK QUESTIONS. So... Janet is full size now, I guess.

(Also Miles Morales is now 616, Peter Parker is Tony Stark and Wolverine is a girl, and she is awesome.)

If yiu like Black Widow, I'd check out her current ongoing series, by Mark Waid. I haven't read it yet but I hear phenomenal things about it.

Can I find it online? How do I find comics? I don't have money for comics!

@Kaymyth I'd have to disagree with your assessment of G-D as a 'vengeful chull head' but uhh I don't think a discussion is gonna go anywhere. Shall we just agree that menstruation is a bloody pain to deal with?*

ninjad edit: what's daredevil when he's not an attorney?

Ahhhhhh that was terrible, @Delightful. And at the same time, amusing. That deserves an upvote.

And before, in the comics, Daredevil was a defense attorney, which conflicted with his punchy-punchy stabby-stabby lifestyle. Now he's a prosecutor, which helps.

Can you find them online? Absolutely. For free? Also yes. Free in a method that's actually legal? Not so much.

Never read them. Or been interested in the show. My only comic outside the big two lately comes from IDW...

There is a website, Comixology, which sells digital copies of books if you can't find a local store...but yeah, expensive hobby. I beliece Marvel prices theirs about $3 dollars for 24 pages?

Alternatively, book stores selling trades would be the best bet.

About Daredevil...he's always an attorney. The twist now is that he's a prosecutor, rather than working defence, I believe.

I think Marvel also has a Netflix like model of read as much as you want for 10 bugs a month, although only ones that are more than 6 months(?) old?

Not that I would ever consider anything illegal ever but where could I find them?

I dunno, I pay for my comics. You'd probably stumble across them by just googling around a bit but that's about all I can tell you.

Oh yes! Edgedancer brought that oneup; Marvel Unlimited. Paid service, but it apparently has a huge back catalogue of old comics. You pay for the month, read to your hearts content abd, presumably, the first month is free.

Never used it, but I know Jay and Miles Explain the X-Men use it for some of their stuff. It isn't a COMPLETE cllection, but my understanding is that it is thorough, and ut dies updare.

Heh.  I'd say that punishing half of the human race for one person's storm-up would definitely qualify as vengeful, chullish behavior.  Just one of the reasons why I don't buy into Biblical scripture.  There's a lot of really horrible stuff in there that I have a lot of difficulty ascribing to any reasonable deity. :)

If it's any help, I got most of my comics from Amazon. They can get fairly cheap when you buy them used. Of course, then there's shipping fees, and I'm not sure how well Amazon works in Australia if at all, so.

Comics are cool, if overcomplicated and confusing sometimes. My big problem with them is how people are portrayed. Women's bodies often get contorted in unsafe ways and the men usually look rather frightening because oh good glory how does he move with all those muscles. Most comics have gotten better about it, though.

Comics have been getting better and better with the whole "accurate-portrayal-of-humans" thing. Also, with LGBT, gender and race representation.

Talking about Amazon, they also have comics for Kindle/comiXology with rather regular sales. For example right now the books based on the S.H.I.L.D. TV (I think, not sure if they are an adaptation or additional stories. Does the show have a man called D.E.A.T.H.?) series are 75% off.

Coincidentally, it's a breakdown of the "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" from Assassin's Creed

I just wanted to make it known to you guys that the Second Annual Sanderson Tournament is now open, and if any of you want to add in your opinions, you'd be most welcome. :)

I took it more from the Angel episode "Epiphany":  "If nothing we do matters, then all that matters IS what we do."

And now I'm going to properly random up the thread with a Japanese man yodeling in German to his favorite chickens:
