Perhaps Harmony made the Atium mistings bendalloy or cadmium or electrum mistings? (Bendalloy and Cadmium because those were unknown, electrum because it is the most similar to Atium)

Being able to burn atium does not qualify in the same way that, say, the inability to use one's legs does.
happyman he/him Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Most of them died protecting the Homeland from the Koloss. I doubt that Harmony would have taken their powers, even so. That doesn't seem to be how he works. It's possible Demoux, who survived, could have scrounged up some Atium. The biggest stash of had been stored in the Homeland, right where he was when the Catacendre happened.

Yata he/him Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I don't think the Hacking Preservation made it is still working (Sazed probably stopped it) but the old ones will retain thier abilities. Of course quite all have died in battle or by old age in the years after and anyway they have no more Atium, therefore they can't use their power. But still they have Allomancy's gene to pass to their offspring.

If the Pits still exist and have reformed, they would be easy to access with worldhopping.

If anything, he'd probably rather serve Kelsier. Which brings to mind, what does Kelsier have to do with the 17th Shard in the current era? I wonder if he's met Khriss and Nazh again. I'm almost convinced that he's out there, traversing the Cosmere. Doesn't seem to fit his character that he'd stick around Scadrial forever, even if it's to watch over his friends' descendants. Getting back to atium, I also don't see why Harmony couldn't just create atium (and lerasium) with his powers, if he wanted to.

It is, in this era, officially useless.

Electrum Allomancy + Feruchemical Zinc...Basic precognitor, able to comprehend what will happen to himself/herself, and avoid trouble, i.e., this Precognitor could burn Electrum, and tap the zincminds he/she is wearing, sees an Electrum Shadow get shot, and dodge the bullet. 1

Could be a vital plot point for the next book, I am convinced that the off world enemy Shard is planning to get the excess Ruin that should be coming back some time soon (possibly in the form of Atium) and try to force this back into Harmony to unbalance him and break his combined Shard
