Zathoth Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 So, what do you guys think? Should I incorporate this into the FFM? Sure, but we need a better site. Vocaroo doesnt store voice messages forever.
+Slowswift Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 So, what do you guys think? Should I incorporate this into the FFM? Could be fun. I'm for it.
Briar King Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I guess there's not an app for that on iPhone. I couldn't find it under vacroo
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Probably his usage of the blasphemous Us in words like Honour *shudder* and colour *shudder again*. I also spell Grey with an E instead of an A. 2
RippleGylf she/her Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 The voice of the M'Hael. Your accent is just so amazing. The voice of RippleGylf. 4
Zathoth Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 The voice of the M'Hael. Oh holy me that was beautiful o.o Your accent is just so amazing. The voice of RippleGylf. Great song choice XD You forgot the deadpan break after "Except the ones who are dead" though. The deadpan break is important, you cant just forget it DX
Mailliw73 he/him Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I also spell Grey with an E instead of an A. Eh, that one, I do both.
The Invested Beard Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I only spell it with an E when I'm asking for some Grey Poupon.
Delightful Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I thought grey was the colour and Gray was the name.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 The way I've always been taught is that it's grEy in England, and grAy in America.
Arraenae Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Grey looks cooler than gray. You can count that vote of support as coming from an American.
ThirdGen Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 In Australia, it's groy. Not spelled that way, it just is.
Haelbarde he/him Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 In Australia, it's groy. Not spelled that way, it just is. It is? I must have been saying it wrong this whole time...
Mistrunner Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 The voice of the M'Hael. You need to record the rest of Mistborn. I might finally buy audiobooks. That was amazing. I also spell Grey with an E instead of an A. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it correct either way but with leanings towards the a in America and e in England? Your accent is just so amazing. The voice of RippleGylf. Wow. O.O That was awesome.
Haelbarde he/him Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 You need to record the rest of Mistborn. I might finally buy audiobooks. That was amazing. Other than legal concerns, and the main protagonist is female and I'm not sure I'd do a good job of voice her, sure! I'd be more likely to record something in the public domain like HG Well's 'The Time Machine', or something like Defending Elysium, were I to do a Sanderson work, given it's available in full online, and I don't think there are any existing audio books of it to worry about, nor would there likely be one. This seems as good a place as any to suggest this, but what'd be people's thoughts on doing a 17thShard full-cast audio-recording of some public domain work?

I'd also recommend Warbreaker.
Haelbarde he/him Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) I'd listen to it. I'd also recommend Warbreaker. Warbreaker is still a published book with an audiobook or two. Defending Elysium does appear in physical form, but I think you only get that from Brandon's store, and it's been on his site for free for ever. Edited April 23, 2016 by Haelbarde
Zathoth Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Someone possibly wants to hear these... She Plays With Snails Zebras and Smoke
Mistrunner Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Someone possibly wants to hear these... She Plays With Snails Zebras and Smoke Did you write these? If so, add this to "ways I find Morz creepily similar to my brother who also composes music for guitar." At least you sound different singing... 1
Zathoth Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Did you write these? If so, add this to "ways I find Morz creepily similar to my brother who also composes music for guitar." At least you sound different singing... Yes. I secretly ate your brother and stole his form. Or something like that.
Arraenae Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Yes. I secretly ate your brother and stole his form. Or something like that. Morzazoth is secretly a kandra! Or some other, less friendly eldritch horror...
Silverblade5 he/him Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 (edited) Just played in a concert. Decided to make a recording. You'll want to turn up your volume as much as possible to be able to hear. http://vocaroo.com/i/s0NzbVSmwx2N Skylight: 0:0-3:15 Mellow Tone: 4:00-6:45 Thaz It: 11:40-17:45 Edited May 5, 2016 by Silverblade5 1
