That's the one I meant. Did not see it coming, loved it when it did.

Thanks a lot, Kaymyth. I was going to take a break and rest my eyeballs, but now I have to finish the season tonight. <_<:P

Yes.  Yes, you do.

I've watched all the seasons of Buffy and Angel, and I started liking Buffy less right about at the start of season 4. Although I will admit the first season or so of Angel was kinda mediocre, I really liked the last season. Speaking of which, I still need to find a way to read the rest of the graphic-novel continuation of the story...

And I've finished season 1 and begun season 2. The finale was pretty feels-heavy. :(

And, from Twimom, this week's blog post: "Is Being Nice Really What Jesus Would Do?"

Oh, Mom. -_-

I... I don't even know what to say to this...

Mildly terrified. Mildly terrified.

To be fair, there might be a time when He uses the "stern-but-kind" approach... wait, that still has "kind" in it. Nevermind.

The post was about loving "sinners" without correcting them. And while I get where she's coming from, it's been pointed out that Jesus only did the "go and sin no more" thing after he'd established a relationship with them. Or, in the case of the woman caught in adultery, risked his life to save theirs. And really, he reserved the brunt of his anger for religious leaders who promoted rules over love. So…yeah. Not sure why I keep reading that thing, but I'm not finding much to agree with. -_-

It was just a warm-up for the heavy-duty Feels of the season 2 finale.

Or when he throws people out of the temple for turning into a market.

Hmm... Not that it's so much that he did things for the sake of being nice - the way he did things was the best way to achieve the desired result. It just happens that for the most part, that involved him being nice.

But, his dad, or himself in different person, or however this God in 3 forms work, didn't have a problem with drowning the whole world or nuking two cities...

It seems like sending Jesus to Earth was a result of a change in hevenly PR department :P

Actually, speaking of Rowling, you guys hear about how they are releasing the scripts for the Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts stuff this year?

I heard about Cursed Child, but only about the movie for Fantastic Beasts. Not sure if I'll read/watch either one yet.

I know this was a few pages ago, I've been gone for waaay too long. My favorite songs from Hamilton are all of them, so I'll just include my favorite quotes.

Dying is easy son, living is harder

Awesome. Wow.

*Sigh* everything is legal in New Jersey.

I'll definitely see Fantastic Beasts, out if brand loyalty as much as anything else...

No chance of me seeing Cursed Child, though. No where around here does that sort of thing...

I'll wait and see it as a matinee, probably. I'm just worried, you know? I loved the original series, and if she's losing her touch, then I don't want to spoil my memories of the original.

Very fair feelings.

I haven't read it, but did you check out The Casual Vacancy? Might give some indication as to how her her style has developed, changed or whatever.

I didn't. I checked out some reviews, and gathered that it didn't sound like my cup of tea at all. Did you read it?

Can't say that I have. A friend of mine did, and he...liked it? Though he stressed it was very, very different from the Potter books...

There's also her books under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

So how much of a nerd does it make me that I'm kind of interested in Roman accounting? I might read the first page or two of that paper, at least.

The Harry Potter version definitely sounds more fun though

Can't forget this one:

"I'm a general. WHEEE!"
