DeadFencer
So how does MeLaan store her weight while in the airship? We know everyone has to store it for the thing to fly- Marasi stopped storing for a second and it started to sink. But Kandra can't use feruchemy. That's the whole point of them being kandra. iwillsearchthenight
I was given to understand that the medallions can grant feruchemy to any wearer. That was what made them so dangerously strong.
Vortaan
Bleeder used Feruchemy. It's not's that kandra can't, it's that they need to jump through more hoops than most people to do so
natc
Mistwraiths are a non-human species, and as such would probably never be natural metalborn. Therefore their only way to use metallic arts would be to be granted powers artificially. As they lacked knowledge of this medallion-tech, their only option was Blessings with allomantic or feruchemical powers instead of potency, stability, etc. And nobody we know of other than Paalm knows how such a spike can be constructed for a kandra. But obviously it could be done, it's simply beyond their understanding of hemalurgy. Nicrosilminds and their interactions with Identity and Investiture are another field of the metallic arts that can potentially grant them power, and as seen with MeLaan can work, but they lack technical knowledge there as well. Of course, possession of the Bands of Mourning has the potential to change that . . .

Kandra might not just know their bind points and they probably don't want to screw around with them
king of nowhere
kanddras also never got a chance to experiment, since they didn't want to kill people to make metalminds.
Copperkeep
Kandra had their natural feruchemical potential removed. There's nothing preventing them from gaining it by other means.
natc
Might not be a matter of a special spike. Kandra might not just know their bind points and they probably don't want to screw around with them Well, giving them the power should be easy. Having it function as a Blessing like it did for Paalm and return some measure of sapience might be a bit trickier.
