Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 That moment of supreme jubilation when you finally defeat those blasted O's... ...only to realize you've won nothing but a... shall we say, Pyrrhic victory. I wish I could say this was staged. I wish I could say I didn't actually suck at Tic Tac Toe this badly. Ah, wishes, wishes. Also, Umbreon. If you have a bone to pick with Os, Google zerg rush. It should prove therapeutic. 4
Kobold King he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 If you have a bone to pick with Os, Google zerg rush. It should prove therapeutic. NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING STOP IT OH, THE HUMANITY! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... 2
Mistrunner Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Seconded. I either say curse it or storms(or flibbertigibbet, but that's just because it is enough fun to say that it automatically brightens my mood). There's an art to not-curses.It is a truly great art. There should be an Olympic event for this. "Awwwww purple flying monkey heads!" "You snorkeling mongoose!" "Bongos! Bongobongobongobongo!" 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Random pug story: When my sister brought Bruno (senior pug with the cranky attitude to match) up to my room last night, she stopped by the fridge, still holding him in her arms. He gave her a withering look that seemed to say, "I don't go in the fridge, you dolt." 6
Young Bard he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Hmmm... I can't decide whether this makes Google Maps a genius or an idiot. It can show you how to walk from Belfast, Ireland to Singapore (ferries to cross the Channels). Apparently, it takes 2,739 hours (just the walking, not including eating, sleeping, etc.) and is an 8705 mile long journey. It's got a line in the directions tab: Notice: This route may cross country borders. Really? Whatever makes you say that? Linky EDIT: Apparently, Cape Town to Singapore is nearly twice that distance: 4,391 hours/23,266 miles. Another Linky Edited December 4, 2015 by Ookla the Incalculable 2

Voidus Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Random pug story: When my sister brought Bruno (senior pug with the cranky attitude to match) up to my room last night, she stopped by the fridge, still holding him in her arms. He gave her a withering look that seemed to say, "I don't go in the fridge, you dolt." I love it when pets give you looks like that My cats get really annoyed with me when I play with them, like when I keep pulling a piece of string along the floor for them to chase after a while they just stop, sit down and give me this really annoyed look until I put it down and let them keep it. 3
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 What's that? Edit: and question to others: What's your favorite Pokemon? Mine is probably Gardevoir. Not only does she look super cool, but she's pretty powerful as well. Venasaur. With incredible defensive abilities and a few offensive tricks, your opponents will never see him coming. 1
Voidus Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 There are only two correct answers.Mew or Mankey.
Delightful Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I.......I'm going to people for dinner tonight. The guy I have a crush on who doesn't know I exist might be there too. I'm so nervous. Help. 4

Delightful Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Well, if he is, make sure he leaves knowing who you are. That is.....actually excellent advice. Thank you! 1
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 So I talked the dictator kid yesterday after class. Apparently my school has a Anarchists Club. 3
Kaymyth she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 There's also the Google directions from anywhere in the continental US to Hawaii. It tells you to kayak across the Pacific Ocean. Also, I remember reading somewhere a thing that I think is on the last Random Stuff thread, and I haven't worked out how to cross-quote. But: if Stormaggedon, Destroyer of Worlds is Obliteration, and my headcanon says that Adonalsium is a Time Lord artifact, does...does that make Reckoners Cosmere? (Please don't hurt me, Twi!) 4

No, it means the Cosmere is Reckoners.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 So I talked the dictator kid yesterday after class. Apparently my school has a Anarchists Club. In my day, that would be a skateboarding club.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 No, it means the Cosmere is Reckoners. IT MEANS THE WORLD IS COSMERE HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS HOID MIGHT BE AN EPIC AND CALAMITY COULD BE ODIUM ALSO, ADOLIN IS COMING 4
Voidus Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 *eye twitches violently at Reckoners being cosmere coming up again* 2
Kaymyth she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Don't worry, Voidus, this only works if Doctor Who is Cosmere, too. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Don't worry, Voidus, this only works if Doctor Who is Cosmere, too. Technically it is, and technically it isn't. I mean, the Cosmere is supposed to be a separate universe, right? So when the Time Lords were out and about, the Cosmere would have been accessible by TARDIS, even while remaining separate from our universe. Meaning Hoid could very well be a Time Lord.
Kaymyth she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Well, under normal circumstances, alternate universes aren't supposed to be accessible by TARDIS. It happens now and then, but it's more the exception than the rule.
Voidus Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm more ok with Dr. Who being cosmere than Reckoners.
The Honor Spren she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I only have one thing to say. WEEPING ANGELS + SHARDBLADES. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I only have one thing to say. WEEPING ANGELS + SHARDBLADES. Or Shardhammers. Now I'm imagining Adolin dueling Weeping Angels. 1
