TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I wonder how she would react at all this... after you move away and block her number, of course. *Artist's rendition. 6
Zathoth Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 *Artist's rendition. Oh, we should blow something up, for fun and possibly profit. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Oh, we should blow something up, for fun and possibly profit. Blowing things up is always a good call. I'm not going to block her number once I move out, though—maybe as a last resort, but not as a first act. I'll just set the boundaries I could never set as long as I lived at home, and if she gives me grief, I'll hang up and refuse to accept her calls until she cools off. 3
RippleGylf she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Had any luck on the job front yet, Twilyght?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Had any luck on the job front yet, Twilyght? Not yet. Some of the jobs I've applied for don't close until the end of the month, so I won't hear anything back until after that. And I'm still looking.

I know, I know. It was just that "Call me and complain loudly" was too obvious of an answer and then you wouldnt get to post the picture of an explosion.
Quiver he/him Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Well. I have a copy of Shadows of Self. See y'all in a few days! 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I found another Illinois job that I'm not unqualified for, in Oak Park. Which is part of Chicago. Okay, Chicago jobs, if you're afraid to say you're in Chicago, there's probably something wrong with Chicago. 1

I….I don't get it. That cheese poem proved there should be more poems about cheese. Edited October 17, 2015 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 1
Zathoth Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I….I don't get it. That cheese poem proved there should be more poems about cheese. Are you sure? XD It was pretty hilarious, in a sort of horrible way XD And not the kind of horrible I usually work in XD
SmurfAquamarineBodies he/him Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Add to all that I need to start working out again (probably after NaNo, during which I am going to do my rewrite of Swift as Steel) so that I can shave off some of this fluff that has crept on over the last couple of years. I need to be able to fit into my chainmail again if I want to pull out my Zelda: Warrior Princess costume for the con circuit. (Yes, I know I'm talking about losing weight for the sake of costuming. I have weird priorities.) I fail to see how working out to fit into clothes is a weird priority. Isn't that the whole spiel behind those workout infomercial things? Well. I have a copy of Shadows of Self. See y'all in a few days! It'll take you a few days to read it? It's because you have one of those evil sinful things people call a social life isn't it? Be careful of social lifes, they are the leading cause of death behind water and a healthy diet. 6
Kaymyth she/her Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) That's a pretty impressive workload. Still a pitty but I have respect for people that know when to draw the line. Guess I'll have to be satisfied withall the awesome people we already have at the RP. And, you know, if you really want to see what my writing is like, you can read Swift as Steel after I post it up. I also need to take that ridiculous little My Little Pony blurb that I wrote about Discord giving Twilight Sparkle the first 5 Game of Thrones books and expand it into an entire "Discord gives the Mane Six terrible presents" fic. I found another Illinois job that I'm not unqualified for, in Oak Park. Which is part of Chicago. Okay, Chicago jobs, if you're afraid to say you're in Chicago, there's probably something wrong with Chicago. Most larger cities, people identify themselves by the suburb they live in. Because that's their legal address and stuff. I fail to see how working out to fit into clothes is a weird priority. Isn't that the whole spiel behind those workout infomercial things? Granted, in this case, I can't just make myself another chainmail tunic on the spur of the moment because the old one's too tight... Edited October 18, 2015 by Kaymyth

DanTheSeamonster he/him Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Didn't they already make Superman evil? You know, the whole "Superman lands in Russia instead of America thing? 1

Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Me during my cross country meet today: "Fleet kept running." "Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination." To the course: "Are you *huff* a returned *huff* because you take my breath away." I might be reading just a little more than I should. Nah, I probably should read more. 3

Could you get this study to my parents? They keep telling me that I need to limit my reading for some weird thing called a "social life." 3
Zathoth Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Could you get this study to my parents? They keep telling me that I need to limit my reading for some weird thing called a "social life." What is this thing called "Social life"? It sounds familiar, but I have never understood the meaning. 3
The Honor Spren she/her Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Realized a few things at the dance today. 1. I am really good at the Cha-cha Slide. 2. I am really bad at the Cotton Eye Joe 3. Partner dancing is super awkward, unless it is with your best friend of the same gender as you. 1

I don't really do touching people. It is amusing to watch my friends partner dance, though.
+Slowswift Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Oh, dancing. I have literally only danced with one (1) person outside of school project/assignment/things. But it was nice, and to one of my favorite songs, so... yeah.
