Can some of you look through Defending Elysium and report any typos you see? Today? There is a good reason for this. Thanks!

Found one. "the officer would be relived." Should be relieved in the context given. Location is after the third break/separation/chapter bar? about 5 paragraphs in.

Another. After the 5th break.

A line of bullets blasted through he window just beside Jason.

indistinctive might not be a word *shrugs* indistinct or nondescript

"The officer looked surprised. But, apperantly uncertain what else to do, he saluted Jason. Jason nodded, then turned to leave." should be apparently

sunglassed might not be a word

switchover might not be a word

vacationing might not be a word

"She's amnisiatic," should be amnesiatic

His ponderings led him nowhere. can be pondering without loss of meaning

Tis speech but: "Someone tried to get ahold of a Varavax host—but something went wrong." ahold can just be hold

He reveled in his returned Sense for a wonderful, silent moment. Should probably be revelled

Lanna stood dissatisfiedly a short distance away. Dissatisfied would do the job

disclaimer: this is just using chrome's en_UK dictionary and google. that's all I found going through a copy-paste job I have. It's such a great little story too

Jason paused. "Elton Flippenday?" he asked flatly, feeling the docking clamps send a shudder through the ship. "What happened to my standard alias?" He should capitalized.

Joe, you're using a cached version of the story, unfortunately. I already fixed a ton of typos this morning (after going through it myself).

mycoltbug: "he" should not be capitalized there.

Also...at this point I am only assuming there are no typos in Firstborn, since typos tend to get reported in Tor.com comment threads and none were ever reported.

Responding to the below: "company" is fine there.

Ok, it just looked inconsistent to how the others looked so thought I would point it out.

Peter, wouldn't company be capitalized here since it's referring to the Phone Company by name albeit in a shortened manner?

But in exchange, the company had demanded a steep price.
