Let's start with the obvious one: "Is Reckoners Cosmere?". Great. Now that we have that large elephant out of the way, what do you think some of the ones we have are?

As a Downtoner, I can say that I find it very annoying when people call it "Downtown Abbey" instead of "Downton Abbey."

There's also calling him "Doctor Who" instead of just "The Doctor." (You don't call the Master "Master Who," do you? <_<

And, while we're on the topic of Doctor Who, one of my personal peeves is when newbies focus on the companions' flaws: "Rose doesn't seem very smart." "Donna's kind of a nag." "Amy's a little clingy." That's the whole point. The Doctor doesn't choose his companions because they're the most intelligent, well-adjusted people in the world; he chooses them because they're ordinary people with ordinary strengths and flaws. It's their lack of extraordinary talents that makes them special.

Not sure if they actually watched the show or not. :P

I'm sure one of their writers did at some point. :P

People complaining about Jojo's bizarre Adventure being weird... well, yes, it is right there in the title, what did you expect?

My dad refers to MLP as "My Pretty Pony" constantly. It drives me bonkers, and I think he does it on purpose.

People consistently calling Episode Six of Star Wars Episode Three. GAAAAAHHHH

Do people seriously do that? I mean, really. Pattern even says "I was the Shardblade all along."

Maybe this doesn't bug most fans, but calling the original movie A New Hope.  Nope!  It's called Star Wars.

Along the same lines, calling Raiders of the Lost Ark "Indiana Jones".

Um, no. That was number 2 and 3. Indiana Jones is a character in Raiders, but that movie is not called Indiana Jones.

Well, mentioning the Percy Jackson movies causes my brother to rant almost reflexively.

What Percy Jackson movies? They never made any movies.

(Those books weren't my favorite, but they were fun enough that I disowned the movies.)

I guess they probably seem better when you read them when you're 12. . . Edited by The Honor Spren

I am disappoint.  :P

Another thing that irks me is when people don't realize that there's often more than one character who has taken a super hero's name. To use Green Lantern as an example, Most people my age recognize John Stewart, the black Detroit architect, due to his use on the Justice League cartoon. But there's also Hal Jordan, the most popular one, Guy Gardner, the hot headed one, and Kyle Rayner, the creative one. And let's not forget Alan Scott, the original GL from the golden age.

This applies to Flash, Robin, and really any other hero who's had multiple iterations as well.

Kobold is a terrible fan.

"Goku is the most powerful guy in fiction and wins everything."

Wrong. Goku isn't even the most powerful character in Dragonball Z, and he loses his fair share of fights. The arc villains he personally defeats are Freiza and Buu.

(Dragonball is a different story...but Gohan beat Vegeta and Cell, and Goku was stronger than Ginyu, but it was Krillen and Gohan who stopped him)
