Kaymyth she/her Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 The last panel in the newest comic just reminds me of how much I love this comic. (Oh, at the WorldCon Masquerade, one of the judges was dressed as the Monster in the Darkness. I might've squeed.)

Quiver he/him Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 1053 is out. You guys should read it. It would be a valuable use of your time, which Roy would appreciate. 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 That might be my favorite line from Elan, ever. 1

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 The Bird. The Valuable time was also cool.
Pagerunner he/him Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Well, guess who has a Shardblade now? http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1078.html 3

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted July 15, 2017 Author Posted July 15, 2017 Mm, i want to wait for the full set to be released, and then buy their Monster for Every Season 1
Sunbird she/her Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 @Pagerunner My first thought upon reading that strip was Percy Jackson's sword, Riptide.
Kaymyth she/her Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Rich has really picked up speed lately; we've been getting multiple updates a week. I am most pleased, and am gonna thoroughly enjoy it while it lasts. He has undisclosed health issues that flare up regularly and slow him down. So us getting lots of comics also means that he's in good health. Win-win all around! 3
The Allomantic Metalhead he/him Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1109.html Always count on the villains to be predictable, even if they have access to Durkon's memories, and thus should know that they're being predictable. 1

Durkon has always been a little less genre-savvy than some of his cohorts. It's hard to blame Durkula for not picking up on things that generally fly straight back his imprisoned host. 2
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 The last few comics have been so fun! Dwarf baby named "Kudzu"?!? "Church of Loki Childcare Service"?!? So glad there've been regular updates lately! :-) 1
GeneralHZRD he/him Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) I found this topic about a week ago, since then I have read through the entire thing, I'm officially hooked, I blame you. Also #1111 is out. Also, for any of you that enjoy RPG based humor you should check this out if you haven't seen it already. The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. Edited February 1, 2018 by TheVillageIdiot 2
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Holy Crap. This topic was made on the day that Strip 1000 was published, the day the Roy first realized that Evil!Durkon was a threat. And today is the day the 1130th strip was posted. I am amazed at the character arc this has taken. I love Durkon so much. More in the spoilers First off, Durkon giving the Vampire all of his pain and joy, does anyone else think that's a lot like the Dalinar scene at the end of OB? Except, the opposite? Secondly, Durkon knew what he was doing, but I don't think he did it just as a way to kill the Vampire. I think he actually did want to help him and himself through the pain he was feeling. Durkon seriously decided to help the vampire. Thirdly, Belkar, oh man. That poor dude needs another ghost Hinjo visit to help him work through this actual character growth. He's not pretending anymore. He's genuinely hurt now. I wouldn't be surprised if halfway through this fight, his ring suddenly stops hurting him, as he shifts to neutral. Thoughts? 3
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 1131 was published today: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1131.html This story just keeps getting better & more amazing. I think A Joe in the Bush predicted some things correctly - wow! We have yet to see the dinosaur in the battle, and I'm hoping Mr. Scruffy gets some action soon as well.
Kidpen he/him Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 I have decided to slightly necro this thread because I recently discovered oots, and am at a couple hundred in. Also, to say that Varsuvius is definitely either female or non-binary. 1
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Re: the latest, 1134 - http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1134.html Am I the only one who thinks we're supposed to imagine the last 2 panels in Chris Hemsworth's voice?
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 Wait, is the tower Thor's boot?
