Favourite restaurant?

There's a vegan restaurant nearby that, besides its unfortunate name, is simply delightful. The name is "The Loving Hut."

Potatoes (those count right?) if not, avocados.

Favorite Brandon Novella?

Either Legion or Mitosis, I'm not quite sure. Though Legion gets extra points for being it's own series.

Favourite superhero themed novel not by Brandon Sanderson?

None. Maybe there's a gem I haven't read yet, but every superhero novel I picked up before Steelheart was rubbish. (Seriously. Don't get me started ranting about Hero Worship or Vicious because I won't be able to stop.)

Umm, I think that it was The Lords of the North by Bernard Cornwell. It was by Cornwell, and it was about Uhtred..... and it was very good! But I read it a long time ago sooooo I don't really remember.

Favorite poet? Bonus points if you add your favorite poem by them.

Robert Frost, no contest.

Nature’s first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf’s a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.

Yes, I know this is the stereotypical choice. But it's awesome, and my favorite poem list is very fluid, so... yeah. I really like this one. :D

Favorite Christmas song?

Oooh, good one!

I really, really love "Sleigh Ride". On a more religious aspect, probably "Far, Far Away on Judea's Plains". Or any Christmas hymn, really. :)

My family makes this great fruit salad. But its fruit.. And had walnuts and its all in a marshmallow creme sort of thing if that makes sense? We call it fruit goop. I love it. I can eat the entire container.

What's your favorite memory?

Posted (edited)

My memory is actually a very recent one from this summer:

I sat on a bench in the shade, on the edge of the Grand Canyon. And I felt right at home.

My brown spotted dinosaur, named Homer. Beanie Baby knock-off brand, but I treasured him above all the Beanie Babies.

Favorite of the last three movies you watched?

Posted

Brother Bear. (It took me longer than it should have to recall the three most recent movies I've seen, but I think they were, in order, 28 Days, Brother Bear, and Double Jeopardy.Double Jeopardy is a fantastic thriller, but Brother Bear is just more my kind of movie. Funny, cute, a little offbeat, with a world I want to live in and characters I love.

Favorite kind of bear?

The Arctodus simus, or giant short-faced bear, which fortunately for us went extinct in the last Ice Age.
