Erotica?

….there are some things man is not meant to see.:P

Just as well. He'd only up the number to 80 or 800 anyway.

It all started when Shiny Sparkle gifted her a sparkling... no no let us not go there. The depravity should not be allowed to return.

That's why I pushed it under the table, duh! :P

...I'd only actually post Funtimes/Nathan love scenes that raise unsettling implications about their relationship, like the wholesome shipper I am. ccb4838a69b76b381093f0b76672d5d2.png

Why not picknick dates for Al and Voidgaze, if you want to stay wholesome?

I think their relationship has plenty of unsettling implications as-is….though that smiley makes me wonder if there are more I didn't see.

Well, for a time...

Still wearing a smile, Nathan took the map of Portland and the museum pamphlet from the table and headed down the hall. The first door he opened led to a room with two pink and two purple walls. "Doctor? I think this one's yours."

She clapped her hands when she saw it, then put her arms around him. "Aren't you coming with me?"

They'd only been fake-dating for--what?--three hours and she already wanted to share a room? "I'll be in later. I need to get some work done first."

She said nothing, but her pouting smile made him laugh.

"I promise, sweetheart. Just give me a little time."

She closed the door with a giggle.

...It looked very much like you were heading in that direction, and I fully expected it. It wasn't until considerably later that we saw that Funtimes craved intimacy but not... lovemaking.

There was ample time for strange shipper interpretations, is what I'm saying. ccb4838a69b76b381093f0b76672d5d2.png

Yeah…..-_-

I think it's truer to her character that I didn't go that route.

Oh, I definitely agree. But at the time, Funtimes was a big question mark, with very little known about her intentions. Remember, the first time I posted on the Portland thread was to make an out-of-character remark about how much she scared me. :P Nowadays it's very clear that such things don't interest her.

Although, it'd be interesting in a morbid sort of way to speculate whether Funtimes would go down that route if her corruption became absolute. After all, her intentions towards Nathan aren't entirely innocent--the passionate snogging on the street proves that. She's still a woman with hormones and desires underneath all of that glitter, after all.

She was a giant question mark to me for a while, too—remember how long it took me to post a scene from her POV? :P

It's definitely possible…..though I don't plan on it.

Off topic, but I found a meme that raises interesting questions about Iconoclast:

We told you to just go ahead and write it, and you were like "No way," and we were like "Yes, way," and then you were like...

* is slammed into a cloning machine *

I feel like we've fanonized an Epic who's in charge of Las Vegas before.

"But I've told you too much already!" :P

Have we? I know there was an alternate ending where Funtimes and Mobius go on a divide-and-conquer road trip there, but I don't recall any Epics who currently control it.

Let's hope she finds an outlet for her hormones that doesn't involve getting to close to an unwilling nathan.

Yes, no zombie would make it out of Vegas without rotting in the desret.

I'm not sure if we fanonized anything but apart from Las Funtimes I remember bringing up a couple of Epics that would fit the city.

I'm only mildly ashamed to admit how much I adore that movie.:wub:

Really? Huh. The Disco Ending must have been terrifying enough that I blocked out the details of it. :P

Financier post up.

And it's good! It made me realize how much I don't want him as my math teacher.

What? You mean you don't want a teacher who lights ten thousand votive candles before writing pi on the board and ducking under his desk while screaming? :P

I share that feeling. By the way, how is NaNoWriMo gpoing for you?

Few things are more entertaining than the fancies of a madman, however no one wants to actually get involved. :P

Well, it certainly would be entertaining. :P

Um. Not bad. I'm at 13,521 out of 20,000 words.

Exactly. :P

And the best (worst?) part is that the school board would have a hard time firing him because tenure! :P

That's 13,521 words more than I've written. I'm not participating, but still.

I probably wrote a couple thousand words for the RP, much more if we count the question... but probably still not that much.

Unless we are those madman, in that case everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in our mad ramblings. :P

I'd like to add a Vanilla character to the Corvallis thread, do I have to ask for permission? I have an idea for a mini sorry arc for Argon involving this new character. Also I think that there is only one vanilla character there, wouldn't hurt to have another.

Two I think but yeah more wouldn't hurt. Ultimately the say goes to Comatose but I don't think there'll be a problem as long as he fits in the setting, so go ahead and pitch the concept.

well considering Icon is a travelling and invincible infection vector, definitely not :P

related question- can Epics become zombies?

So waaay back in Question 13 (remember that? I think it was what, ten years ago now? :P) I had a writing prompt I wanted to pass by all of you to see what you thought.

Then, before I could write it, I went on a hiatus of sorts. Edgedancer suggested somebody write an entry in Astoria with that prompt and with my characters as a way to both get that prompt done and off my characters in a fun way.

I now offer whoever wants to that chance. You could split it between a couple people (for example if there’s multiple POVs in the scene) or whatever you all see fit to do.

Here’s the prompt again, for reference:

"Here's a prompt: A guy walks into a bar because he's been having an abnormally bad day, and he orders a drink. When he pays the bard tender, the man slaps a piece of paper into his hand. After reading it, the man's face goes green and his hands clench in rage. He storms out of the bar. The next morning, the man is found on the outskirts of town, dead, killed by poison. Write a story about what happens in between the man storming out of the bar and him being found the next day, dead."

And lastly, the weaknesses for my two major Epics are as follows:

Timelock’s weakness is honey, as a result of a terrible incident in his childhood involving a fruit pie, lots and lots of bees, and a trip to the ER.

Gravitas’s weakness is frying pans, after his drunkard/criminal father beat him with one throughout his childhood.

I certainly do love this environment and the Reckonerverse. And writing is oh so fun. So who knows? Maybe I'll come back again someday. :)

You're welcome at any time, Slowswift. :)

On a similar sad note... have we figured out what we're going to do with Ozymandias?

I think he should die in battle, on-screen but from another's pov. Anything less would be boring :P Edited by Blackhoof

So he can't leave town to pursue his lifelong dream of being a llama farmer? :(:P

How to deal with characters that aren't yours but to powerfulto simply sideline. For Ozy He might fall victim to a stampede, if we really want to get rid of him.

Also, apparently the range at wich Epic's aging slows is different across the board, acording to Brandon.
