That's pretty much the same guess I had. I'll ry to get a bit more out of Brandon but who knows what we'll get. Maybe something along the lines of "Does an Epics power play into how fast they age and how slow did for example Steelheart age?"

I think it was what, ten years ago now? ) I had a writing prompt I wanted to pass by all of you to see what you thought. Then, before I could write it, I went on a hiatus of sorts. Edgedancer suggested somebody write an entry in Astoria with that prompt and with my characters as a way to both get that prompt done and off my characters in a fun way. I now offer whoever wants to that chance. You could split it between a couple people (for example if there’s multiple POVs in the scene) or whatever you all see fit to do. Here’s the prompt again, for reference: "Here's a prompt: A guy walks into a bar because he's been having an abnormally bad day, and he orders a drink. When he pays the bard tender, the man slaps a piece of paper into his hand. After reading it, the man's face goes green and his hands clench in rage. He storms out of the bar. The next morning, the man is found on the outskirts of town, dead, killed by poison. Write a story about what happens in between the man storming out of the bar and him being found the next day, dead." And lastly, the weaknesses for my two major Epics are as follows: Timelock’s weakness is honey, as a result of a terrible incident in his childhood involving a fruit pie, lots and lots of bees, and a trip to the ER. Gravitas’s weakness is frying pans, after his drunkard/criminal father beat him with one throughout his childhood. I certainly do love this environment and the Reckonerverse. And writing is oh so fun. So who knows? Maybe I'll come back again someday. And real quick, some additional requests, if I may (assuming anyone takes me up on this): Basically what I'm asking here is if anyone wants to take over writing my characters. The above is a proposed plot to get rid of them at any time if you so wish. Just... don't end it so quickly it only takes a post? If that's alright. So effective it overshoot the panel. And real quick, some additional requests, if I may (assuming anyone takes me up on this): Basically what I'm asking here is if anyone wants to take over writing my characters. The above is a proposed plot to get rid of them at any time if you so wish. Just... don't end it so quickly it only takes a post? If that's alright. Again, if anyone wants to adopt these characters, feel free. It might help if you could give a quick summary for the characters.

Despite having 5 other Epics with sky in their name I have no 'Skydancer' in my list, this is the 3rd time you've bested my legion of Epics in coming up with a unique Epic.

Or proof that I'm not trying hard enough still. *Devolves into flurry of Epic creation* Shattershot: An Epic who can blow up bullets Grinz: Can make people smile. Occasionally so hard that their mouth splits open. Visitor: Can astral project to any person he has ever met, no matter how far away they are, though only for a period of 5 minutes. NightSiege: Can create and hurl large dark projectiles. WarBreaker: Can destroy any weapons. 1

Kobold, if one of Chimera's animals were killed, and Lightwards got a piece of it, would he resurrect the Chimera or the original animal the piece came from?

Why not just base all the Epics off of your friends? That's... that's a good question. So far it looks like Chimera's constructs are more than just the sum of their parts. By which I mean, from what we've seen so far they seem less like stitched-together golems worthy of Frankenstein and more like amalgamations that are too firmly fused together for the term "original animal" to even make sense. By gut reaction is to say that Lightwards would resurrect the chimera, I might be wrong. It might ultimately boil down to whether the genetic code of the animal changes, or if two entirely different types of animal cell inhabit a chimera's body.
